This place is definitely hidden from the plethora of restaurants on bergenline.It’s basically a cafeteria with a bar, the waitresses are nice to the point - just know what you want.Only reason why the review loses is a star is the “cuban tamale” its not , no meat/pork - it’s basically an elote (corn tamale). It ain’t terrible for an elote but a traditional Mexican restaurant would be the ideal spot for that.The food is actually good , nowadays outside food especially “cuban” food is trash - nothing like abuela / mama / tia. It will hit the spot!The croquetas were soft, they could’ve been fried more to get them crispy.The mondongo was delicious, generous portions of tripe!Would definitely return, recommend (except the tamale)
