The place is very small, expand it because the prices are too high for this little space.

I've always driven by this place and heard excellent things, so this morning I decided to finally stop in for some breakfast. I was expecting somewhere I could sit and view the menu, but there was no menu posted anywhere on the wall and there didn't seem to be any menus that I could look at.What I really wanted was a breakfast sandwich, but seeing nothing at all that said those were available, I decided to order from the pastry case. There were so many items and not being familiar with Colombian food, I didn't know what to choose. I chose an empanada (ranchero), a hawaiian stuffed pastry, and a couple of buñuelos. The women behind the counter were friendly taking my order, heating the items up for me, and handing them over, but strangely dropped the smile and didn't say Thank you or goodbye when I said it to her. Even as I put tip in the tip jar, she didn't smile at me again. I thought that was a little bit strange.Once I got back to my car and resumed my commute to work, I tasted the food.Every single thing was DElicious! I've never had such flaky, lightly crisp empanadas and I love empanadas. The bunuelos were excellent and I loved the flavor of the cheese. The hawaiian pastry was a little weird because the sweetness of the pineapple contrasted with the savory cheese and ham in there, but I guess that's the point!I want to try the location that's a couple blocks over, to see if I can view their full menu. But definitely want to come back here and will sample more of their pastries!

I was in New York on January 22, 2024. We decided to go to a Colombian place and we ordered a chicken soup. The truth is, it didn't taste like anything, just like very bad vegetables.

This is another of the places that friends familiar with the area recommended I come visit. Ever since I came to this locale (I have yet to try the others and from the looks of it, there is a NDC about every five blocks both North and South on Bergenline, all the way to 90th if I am not mistaken). What I love about this little place which is like a pocket restaurant is the friendliness of the girls at work, which makes their already hard work seem like an effortless dance. All of them are knowledgable about their menu, what works with what, suggestions on what plate to try (so as to not repeat the same comfortable dish over and over), and like the people of El Artesano, they don't hurry you through your meal or rush you through your drink or coffee so you can pay and get the heck out of there. The other night I was there at the stroke of 8:00, fully aware they close at 9:00, and I was still able to take my time, order, eat, and depart about the 45 minute mark. That is not to say, the place does get busy. Getting a seat around 6:00 pm on a workweek is next to impossible due to its size, but because I tend to have dinner later, I can always wait a bit before venturing back out. It's a perfectly sized little eatery where you can make a pit stop either before hitting New York City or, in my case, before getting home from a long day at work (provided it's not packed to the gills with people). The food is light and snappy and crackles with energy. The entire place feels alive and bubbling. I love it. Come try it out.

Perfect. Great food. I have been to multiple Noches de Colombia but this is the only one my colombian friend liked.

Service was not informative. The person that spoke on the phone with did not communicate about the fees that you will end up paying. I honestly felt rushed to give them my debit card’s information. Also, the food does not feel fresh, it’s like old rice, etc. On the top of that, I also noticed that the prize of the special/dish from the website is different as what it is charged on the bill. They even charge .25 for every to go item? I guess you are charged for the container, which is odd. There is a non-cash fee too which is listed in your bill.
