The Skyland manor is gorgeous we have stayed there a few times. Way higher than my price range for my wedding but wish I could afford the fairytale wedding

We had our wedding at Skylands Manor and our main point of contact from Frungillo was awful. She often didn’t respond to emails, did not check in with us on key details prior to the wedding, did not attend the rehearsal, and overall was incompetent and was the most stressful part of our wedding. I do not recommend this company.

I had a wedding for my daughter yesterday at there inn in hope the venue is beautiful, that being said I don't know what they were trying to pull off as filet mignon, it was more of a pot roast. Needless to say this was a disappointment, for all the money I paid . We couldn't order to our liking some guests couldn't eat it it was to undercooked. Some guest received undercooked chicken. To top it off I saw a staff member getting herself ice cream from the venetian table. My daughter also had a photo booth which after looking at all the photos there were 10 to 15 photos of the staff who I guess decided they were entitled to use. Some staff were excellent Eddie was very helpful and calm its not his fault the food was not what it was supposed to be. Also there were supposed to be cookie platters on the tables in addition to dessert table, no coffee or tea were served.

Had an amazing time at LIV golf. Frungillo is truly best of the best. Huge thanks to Frank Scozzari and the whole team who made LIV golf unforgettable! The food was amazing and drinks were ice cold!

1/13/2022- I would like to update my review on this place. Not only did we share our concerns with them the next day on what happen the day of our wedding and the horrible services that was provided. But our wedding was 12/11/2021 and we shared our concern 12/12/2021 and my wife got a response back from Michelle which is below this. Then we heard nothing back until I emailed Michelle back and we submitted reviews and my wife spoke to Lauren. After that we have not heard from anyone. Why is it that they are so quick to take your money and when you share your concerns about there horrible services and demand a refund or partial refund they hide. We even emailed the owners to see if they responded and of course they never answered. Your job is tied into customer services you have to deal with people and you have to deal with customer concerns. We are asking you to do the right thing and give us a partial refund. Are partial refund will not put you out of business but the 16,000 we gave you for the services you provide was not wroth it. DO THE RIGHT THING.I would rate a zero if I could.My fiancé and I have been working with Frungillo’s for over a year for our wedding. We knew they cost a little more, however we were excited for their food as it tasted amazing at our tasting.But I was letdown at my wedding.For these reasons below:1. Misunderstanding over the food menu- this is my least concern.2. Rubberband found in a guest meal ( unfortunately he did not get a picture)3. We asked for 2 bars, only 1 was set up ( told we did not have enough liquor, when I personally worked with the distributor to make sure we did)4. Ed was heard yelling at his staff5. Servers were very young, under 18 because they could not serve alcohol. They were seen dancing on the dance floor and one ran up and kissed one of my guests on the mouth and ran off. ( we have a picture of the server)6. Minimal to non-existent served hors d’oeuvres. Myself and the guests did not see or get any during the cocktail hour. When asked for more, they were told no.7. Small portions for the salads brought to the table.Please see the attached photo with their email replies back.I called them as I stated at 2:30pm today to discuss because their replies were unacceptable. Michelle stated she would not speak to me since she did not work the event, just Ed. Even though Michelle is who we conduct business with from the beginning!When I called- 3 times- no one answered. The way we are being treated is unacceptable and Frungillo as a whole needs to take responsibility for how they conduct them self as a business. We want to talk to someone above Michelle and Ed!Please take this warning and avoid this place at all costs.

Frungillo was our caterer at our wedding at the Art Factory in Paterson. Wow! Our guests will not stop raving about how excellent the food was! Furthermore, Ben was amazing to work during the planning and our maitre d Linda and the day of staff were so attentive, organized and easy to work with as well. Thank you all so much!!

We used Frungillo Caterers for our daughters wedding at Born to Run Farm October 23. We did all of our planning with Dawn as we got closer to wedding day she was there for me for every little question and extremely helpful in making the day a success. On the day of event Robert was on site I have to say he was there when ever I turned around. He helped make a beautiful day flawless. The food was excellent everyone enjoyed it very much and plenty of it no one left hungry. The staff was very courteous I would highly recommend them. Thank you for making this a day to remember.

My fiancée and I toured Skyland's Manor with Nancy (whos is with Frungillo Caterers) in December 2021. This was our top #1 venue & were extremely excited. The tour was great, Nancy was informative & helpful. The tour aspect was 5 stars. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because communication was very much lacking. We signed up for a couples tasting, and sent Nancy the initial authorization form. I specifically asked to be updated on time/place of the tasting (which was $213.00). The money was charged to the card provided, but we never heard back regarding further information. The night before the tasting, I sent Nancy an email just stating that since we have not heard anything further ( & had no time or location to show up to), we would obviously not be attending. I asked for the money to be refunded (as we did not go to a tasting) AGAIN radio silence. I gave it 2 weeks and now have disputed the charge with the credit card company. Due to this miscommunication, just to set up a tasting, we decided to book another venue. Unfortunately we LOVED Skylands, but can not risk spotty communication or radio silence. Not when wedding planning is stressful enough.

We booked a birthday party for our daughter at the Oakside Mansion and Frungillo’s before the pandemic. Then in April, we realized that this phenomenon was going to keep us in some semblance of a lockdown for a longer period of time and as a result, we cancelled the event. The Oakside Mansion returned our deposit almost immediately, and yet despite providing months of advanced notice, Frungillo’s has not only refused to refund our money but also has yet to reply to our request when we’re well within the stipulations of our contract to recover every penny of the $600+ dollars that we provided to reserve the date. In any other industry, this behavior is nothing short of criminal activity. To add insult to injury and despite their long relationship with the Oakside Mansion, Frungillo’s also refuses to respond to them with any rationale around withholding repayment from a client. This is unacceptable and disgusting behavior. While I can appreciate the hardship that this global situation has caused on small businesses, it’s unfathomable that a company can continue to do business during a time where people need their hard earned money the most. DO NOT under any circumstances book these crooks for your event. Not only will they absolve themselves of any responsibility to their clients, but based on the other reviews I’ve read here and elsewhere, it would appear their service leaves much to be desired. Shameful.

Got the Thanksgiving meal for 6 people, although it definitely could have fed over 10. All the food was great (easily cleared the bar for a picky eater mother) the heating instructions were easy to follow, pickup was seamless, and all the trays were packed to avoid any spills. Michelle did an outstanding job in lining everything up. Our family was very impressed and will be sure to pick up another holiday meal!

Frungillo did the catering and logistics for our outdoor wedding at the NJ Botanical Gardens/The Castle at Skylands Manor, and it was absolutely perfect. Ben worked with us from the start to craft a unique and absolutely delicious menu – being able to execute on even our most specific requests. Linda handled all of the coordination including obtaining permits from the town for our tented wedding on the grounds of the garden, ensuring the setup of the tent and other rentals went smoothly, and was an excellent maitre d. Her staff was incredibly well trained and so many guests commented on their professionalism and importantly, how amazing all of the food was!!! From the raw bar to the taco cart, roast pig during cocktail hour to over the top after party food, no guest left hungry and loved everything they ate. I only wish that my husband and I got to eat any of the food at the reception – but, we took that as a sign of a great fun wedding. Thanks to the Frungillo team to helping our wedding dreams become a reality!
