The Verona Inn is sometimes good but its a hit or miss. The service is perfect and the atmosphere is also really good. The chairs are always clean and so are the tables they have never been dirty. One time I ordered Verona Inn to pick up and me and my friends all ordered a burger and fries. The burgers were burnt and really dry. We were really confused because it was never like that. They also one time ruined my order when we picked up so we had to go back and it took 30 minutes to get my food back. So overall they are great but its a hit or miss with them.

I don’t often leave reviews. For the bad ones especially. Momma always told me if you have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.Plenty to say here and all good. The food was Excellent. Beer list was on point. Probably the best fish and chips I’ve had. My son’s been here a few times as he goes to school in the area and said we had to drive 35 minutes to try their sweet potato fries. He wasn’t wrong.My wife’s salad was great. All of the ingredients seemed fresh. Again, not one for reviews and not one for lengthy ones at that. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT!! Worth the drive for us.

The bartender took my drink and threw it out before I was finished; She didn’t even ask if I was finished.The bar was filled with a bunch of guys. We were the only women at the bar; it was clear she wanted our seats for them. Don’t waste your time or money; a bunch of inexperienced bartenders.

Just dropped by for drinks around 9:40 with another couple only to be basically followed up by by THREE bartenders to confirm payment to be chased at the exit for payment then asked to come back inside to confirm payment only to be told it was their bad and oh sorryFully unacceptableI'm unclear what type of establishment feels it is appropriate to target a group that already paid their bill in cash only to back track and "apologize" with literally zero acknowledgement or remedy.THANK YOU U NEXT I WILL PATRON AN Alternate MEDIOCRE BAR WITH DECENT SERVICE THANKSI honestly have never felt targeted as a person of color before visiting this establishment. I had the V.I. Burger for the first time a few weeks ago and decided to order it again tonight. The girl at the front reception area was extremely pleasant. She brought my food out to the car. When I got home (6 mins later)…the pretzel and cheese were hot, the burger is barely like warm and the fries had definitely been sitting there for a while as they’re pretty much (cold) cardboard. There’s no way a manager would be happy sending this burger and fries out. It’s unfortunate because I really enjoyed the VI burger the first time. Ate half the lukewarm burger, fries are going in the trash. Complete waste of money tonight.
