Food was good. Not overly seasoned like others places I’ve tried. I ordered the whiting dinner with yams and greens. Superb! Will definitely order from this place again.

My husband and I just got food here tonight. The staff was rude. The online prices and menu are not up to date either. We wanted a family dinner with 20 pieces they said it is changed to 15 pieces for $55 l. The staff then proceded to tell my husband that they only had 10 pieces of chicken. So he said he would take that. Instead of charging us for a family meal with a slight discount they charged us for 3 three piece meals with large sides. The bill came to $80. The prices for this food are outrageous and it isn't even that good. The chicken is dry and the collard greens are salty. We will not be returning and I encourage anyone to go anywhere else. I guess I should have read all the bad reviews before we went here. Not worth the money or the rudeness.

I've patronized the business on several occasions with my husband/son. The food was seasoned perfectly and nice portions. On Sunday July 25,2021 we called ahead to place our order. While placing my order the guy repeated what I ordered fish cabbage and yams when I got my food they gave me fish cabbage string beans. Not only was I disappointed with what they gave me but the portions were less and they increased their platters to $15

Really enjoyed this place! Chicken, Mac n cheese, and banana pudding were delicious!! It was a 30 minute wait, however that was no problem since staff let us know beforehand that they were busy. Highly recommend if you are a local or even just stopping in town on a road trip like we were!
I was excited to taste the food but I was disappointed because the chicken tasted exactly like the one from the chinese store in Bridgeton and the mac & cheese had no taste. ??♀️

Excellent food! Better than KFC! The fixings (sides) have a southern feel and taste. The employees are friendly. Hard to find by GPS but it's located in the parking lot to the side of heritage.

I was doing a job in the Millville area, and there wasn't much around to eat. This little soul food place popped up, and it looked pretty good so we gave it a try. First, I will say that the menu that was online did not match the menu in the store. I was looking forward to the Turkey Chop, but they didn't have it when I was there. I was slightly disappointed, but the fried fish definitely made up for it. I'm not much of a fish eater, but I took a risk and I'm glad I did! It was probably the freshest fried fish I've ever had. Mac & Cheese was okay, Green Beans & Yams were delicious! Overall enjoyed all the food I got from here. If I'm ever back, I need that Turkey chop if it's on the menu!!
