My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Amma's South Indian Cuisine last weekend, and I am thrilled to share our exceptional experience, largely thanks to the outstanding service provided by waitress Vardhana.From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, Vardhana's warm smile and welcoming demeanor immediately put us at ease. Service is rushed and food is not fresh but rather warmed out food from before. Also, to note it is not halal and there are no halal certification. They say it is but have nothing to prove it. Nowhere is it written either.

Great selection of South Indian food with decent portion sizes. The place is decorated nicely (I really liked their steel strainer light fixtures). Service was reasonably quick and the food tasted great. I definitely recommend their Tiffin combo to try a variety of their items. What more can I ask for, I'll be coming back!

The food was delicious! Spicy selections were flavorful. Great gluten free options. Had a late lunch/early dinner of multiple appetizers that I shared with my friend and would 10/10 do the same when I come back. The Aloo bonda was deep fried comfort food.

My first time having South Indian food (my first dosa!) and I was incredibly impressed. Everything was incredibly flavorful and the tandoori chicken was tender as butter. They almost have too many choices. We did make the mistake of asking for naan to go with our leftovers, which they don't have. The woman politely told us they didn't have naan, and proceeded to list three other items they have instead. While helpful, I wish she would've told us which was which because we ended up just nixing the order. If you're not familiar with the cuisine there are no shortcuts/assists from the staff but that's on me to educate myself better, now that I know. I will certainly be back to try each and every variation of the dosa. Phew.
