The service was impeccable, start to finish. We were sat on time, waited on promptly and professionally. The food was OUTSTANDING. We had the Branzino and Seafood, plus artichokes and calamari. Will absolutely visit again.

Reservation was for 4 people at 5pm, anniversary dinner, sat us at a table right under a music speaker, no one else in the restaurant, another party of 4 came in and they sat them right next to us, the guy sitting there was coughing every few minutes, the food came out on ice cold plates, my steak was cold after a few minutes, my wife's flounder was not fresh, a terrible experience the bill was almost $500 we are never going back!!!!! Also told the manager of our complaints, no compensation on the check, I left only a 10% tip. So much for a not so happy anniversary dinner. I wanted to leave by my family didn't want me to make a scene!

Great food, energetic atmosphere, hardworking servers. Dishes presenting creatively. Hostess when out of her way to seat us with unexpected friends even though restaurant was busy!

The service at Saly G's was impeccable. I had the angry chicken and it was fabulous. It was a very big portion so I took some home and enjoyed it the next day also. My husband had the veal chop on the bone and it was huge but he ate the entire thing. It was our first time there and we were celebrating our anniversary. The price was fair but well worth it.

We love this place. Starting going here only a few months ago. Service is top notch - professional and attentive but not intrusive, food choices and delivery are outstanding. Reasonable value - especially given the reality of inflation. And the vibe is Jersey cool. We'll be back

A hidden spot with a great atmosphere where you will need a reservation. The wedge salad and angry chicken parmigiana were great.

Bustling restaurant with nice ambiance and warmth. Drinks were amazing. My NY strip steak was very well seasoned tho very expensive ($62). I would give 4 stars, But my husband was less impressed with the arabiata. He thought the chicken was overdone and was expecting chunks of peppers. He was also disappointed with the size of the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail. Server was attentive and friendly. Overall a very nice experience. Place has good energy. Would go back.

Loved our experience last night. Pear cocktail was divine. Excellent pappardelle con fungi and chicken rolletini with the best mashed potatoes any of us had ever had. Attentive staff and generous portions. Bread served ahead of the meal along with complimentary olives and eggplant was a nice touch. An expensive place but we'll worth it.

Saly G's is one of the best restaurants in Central Jersey. Have been several times and always great food and experience. Always have a drink at the bar before dinner, and nice vibe there before the meal. Owner is personable always stops by the table to personalize the experience, but never pushy. Knows the menu perfectly and when to step away to not interrupt conversations during business meals. Can't say enough good things

I took my mom out for her 84th birthday. I ordered the 10oz prime filet mignon. What arrived was the butt end of the tenderloin maybe 7oz. It was very grizzly and hard as the butt ends usually are. I knew when it arrived it was not going to be good, I attempted to eat it. Told the waiter that it was terrible. He said you ate it and walked away. I ate half of it maybe 3 bites. The service was terrible too. The waiter never came to check on us most of the meal. I wouldn't go back here for a free meal. The fries were actually really good. The lasagna special was ok. Stick to one of the chain steakhouses. Their steaks are usually better.
