The food at this place is out of control. The mussels in wine sauce - I drank the broth. The red sauce mussels I used the sauce to make an eggplant parm the next day - insane. The Cesar salad with shrimp or salmon - delish! I have also had the Alfredo pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I have had. The penne vodka I served at brunch with friends and it was a hit! The cacio e Pepe, I tried not to eat on one sitting and failed. The shrimp scampi pasta - my best friend ordered and I could not help but “assist” her in eating it. I’m a real foodie and am super picky so when I found Trevi, I have to try not to order from there all week. Just amazing!! And the people that work there are super nice.

The food is their own unique thing, not like the standard pizza style of the area. It's like a really gourmet version of Ellios. The crispy fried cheese on the edge of the square crust is memorable and different than the soft bread stick that traditionally encircles a NY/NJ slice of pizza, and if you have the open mind for it, it's good. The sauce wasn't wildly spicy like Pizza Hut or Papa John's but it also wasn't a tangy tart layer of razor thin marinara, like it would be in the regional style. It was mellow and I detected a saltiness that could have leeched from the chest. The crust is why I said Ellios. It isn't NY Sicilian style nor Chicago in thickness, but reminds me more of those blowing alley pizzas of the last century. The staff were very friendly. The seating is spacious and comfortable. But - the color scheme is muted, like the penitentiary feel of a 2023 McDonald's. I would have given more points for friendly red and white checkerboard patterns or even just the lack of the color black. Trying to appear new and hip shouldn't mean making people's seasonal affective disorder worse. Buy a can of red or green paint and go nuts, guys. One more cookie cutter hip black restaurant is like one more pair of white briefs on the pizza arse of America.Update: I went back to try that chicken. It came in the form of a Chicken Parmigiana sandwich, which had a nice sauce but fresh mozzarella, which is tasteless when melted. Indeed, it does have seasoned breading, and all the more interesting that it's seasoned panko bread, which deserves recognition for being seasoned despite being panko.

The cheapest and lowest service ever in the food and restaurants business and workers don't respect customers at all. Don't ever think to go there

On the expensive side it seemed, until I tasted it. ? This pizza is a testament to, “You get what you pay for”. Truth be told, I would pay more. The crust was baked to perfection, and they’re very generous with the toppings.

I love going to Trevi because the staff is always extremely nice and my pizza is always delicious. There was a problem with a coupon I was trying to use so I couldn't use it, but they gave me a large plain pie for free! Great customer service in my book, I would recommend them to anyone! ???

On Monday nights this pizzeria offers large plain pies for just $8; and so my partner; being the che-- I mean frugal person that he is; brought one home. I have not tasted sauce/gravy like this since before my grandmother passed away. It was simply delicious. Anyway, we were anxious to get to Monday night again to do a repeat; but when Pete got to the door they were closing up. Pete begged the woman to sell anything that she was going to get rid of when she remembered that she still had a margarita pizza that never got picked up. When he got home; I put it back in the oven for a bit and heated it up. OH MY FATHER IN HEAVEN IT WAS F-ING AMAZING! The crust reminded me of how good crispy buttery garlic bread tastes. The fresh mozzarella; the fresh tomatoes and the fresh herbs culminated in a culinary masterpiece. Please don't deny yourselves the opportunity to know what pizza made in Italy would taste like;and I have been all over the country of my maternal ancestry and this is it.MAGNIFICO!!!P.S. I just wanted to say that I just read a couple of negative comments; but pardon me for saying this to the lady who ordered a COBB SALAD and a PLAIN SLICE of pizza... How can someone possibly be a good judge to review a restaurant whose specialty is Italian by ordering a COBB SALAD!! In addition; always give the benefit of the doubt when the food is done well but not for you. Everyone has a bad day; what's more important is that some people are just incapable of saying something positive and kind. Trust your own judgment.Bon appetit!
