Beautiful restaurant and excellent service. Delicious food also.We went for our anniversary and we had an special treat. Andre our server was amazing. They have valet parking which makes it easier. The only thing I was disappointed about was that the restaurant is across the Hudson, not on the actual river side. Other than that, everything was perfect.

We came by with a reservation for the prix fixe Valentine's Day menu ($120pp). Most of the dishes were good, like the sushi tasting. The Osso Bucco was amazing, so tender and flavorful. The whipped potatoes is a must-try; incredibly rich and creamy! The salmon was average and the calamari was tough. The drinks were decently strong, but all very sour. We had the Mixed Emotions, Silver Garden, Dragon Luuve, and Dual. Service was attentive and quick despite it being a full house for Valentine's Day. Other reviewers are pretty accurate with the valet service ($10) being slow. Overall, I don't think it was worth the price, but not a bad experience.

Love Blu on the Hudson! The sushi and crispy rice are great!
My fiancé and I decided to go on a dinner date at Blu on the Hudson about a week ago, since we heard great things about it from family and friends. I was also following them for a while on social media. I have to say that the only two things we appreciated about this place were the attention to valet parking and the atmosphere. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience for us. This fell very short from fine dining. The minute I walked in, I had already assessed the environment. The host was very unwelcoming. We had a waiter that was very dry and not social. Basically, he wanted to do his job and sell us everything on the menu. There were multiple people handling our plates and the couple's next to us. The waiter asked us multiple times if we were allergic to anything, and we said shellfish. A few minutes later he came back again to ask us, "Do you guys mind if the brussels sprouts are cooked in the same pan with shrimps?" We had already informed him that we were allergic to shellfish. The food was very poor quality. The porterhouse was nowhere near what we had in other restaurants. We ordered brussels sprouts, mushrooms (which were horrible), octopus, a croquette and a porterhouse. Despite sharing this information with the waiter, my fiancé got food poisoning and I had an upset stomach. We still got sick from the food due to its quality. As a result, I immediately contacted the restaurant via writing as I prefer to do and never heard back from management, it's been a week.

As soon as you arrive, you have to hurry and orderService much too fast as soon as the dish was finished we cleaned up while we were still on our plate and we were offered the dessert menu we did not have time to enjoy this good meal (even with portions small) and all this for a prohibitive priceAs soon as you arrive, you have to hurry and orderService much too fast as soon as the dish was finished we cleaned up while we were still on our plate and we were offered the dessert menu we did not have time to enjoy this good meal (even with portions small) and all this for a prohibitive price
