Very bad service, we ordered guacamole and the person who made it did not ask if we like it spicy, he just didn't leave it and we had to ask for lemon and salt to fix it, they never asked again if we wanted to have something else, they never brought us napkins!!

I wish I could give 0 starts. We passed by this place and we wanted to have small appetizers and drinks to enjoy the view which is the only good thing about this place. We ordered fajitas with chicken and steak and fajitas are supposed to come with tortillas, we asked the servers and they never brought them, water was never offered, we had to asked for it and when the bill came it was $85 for 2 drinks, 6 shimps and the INCOMPLETE FAJITAS, without including tip. I tried to talk to the manager but he was hiding, when I told them about the situation he yelled at me saying: “DO YOU WANT ME TO GIVE YOU DISCOUNT FOR TORTILLAS”? He claimed that they were complementary and he could not do anything about. He wasn’t even able to apologize, it was my mom my daughter and I, with an almost $100 bill and he was so prepotent. A place overrated for a view which it’s not worth on drinks, food or even service which not even the manager Fernando Hernandez is not capable of providing a customer service or even care about sentiment guests. Make sure when receiving the order to the table they bring everything otherwise they will say that it’s not their fault or it’s complementary so they have nothing to do.

It's all about the view at Charrito's. Enjoy delicious, authentic Mexican food, crafted cocktails, and a spectacular view of New York City across the Hudson River. Drink and food prices are a little high, but that is well worth it so they can pay for this prime piece of real estate. Guac is made table side and is a must.

Charrito's: A Taste of Authentic Mexican DelightNestled in the heart of Weehawken, NJ, Charrito's embodies the essence of vibrant Mexican cuisine with a contemporary twist. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with an atmosphere pulsating with youthful energy, complemented by the melodic strains of groovy Mexican Spanish tunes. The evening ambiance sets the perfect stage for a memorable dining experience. The warmth of the staff mirrors the inviting glow of the restaurant's lighting. Their genuine smiles and attentive service elevate the dining experience, making you feel right at home. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you'll be welcomed with open arms and treated like family. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find an array of tantalizing options on the menu. The enchiladas, quesadillas, and burritos, all bathed in rich red and green sauces, were a symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds. However, the real showstopper was the guacamole, prepared tableside in a traditional stone earthenware molcajete. Watching the avocados being skillfully mashed and infused with lime and spices was a feast for the eyes, and the resulting dip was nothing short of divine. But the indulgence didn't stop there. Charrito's spoils its patrons with unlimited nacho chips accompanied by an assortment of savory salsas, each one more delicious than the last. Whether you prefer a mild salsa or crave the fiery kick of a spicy green sauce, there's something to satisfy every palate. In conclusion, Charrito's is more than just a restaurant – it's an invitation to savor the vibrant flavors of Mexico in an atmosphere brimming with warmth and hospitality. Whether you're dining with friends or treating your family to a night out, this is a culinary destination that deserves a spot on everyone's list. So, the next time you find yourself in New York or New Jersey, make sure to pay a visit to Charrito's and experience the magic for yourself. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.Vegetarian options: The enchiladas, quesadillas, and burritos, all bathed in rich red and green sauces, were a symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds.

Things are complicated there... Like bringing the food out before you take break, and being respectful to the guests.

I ended up going for my anniversary and it looked amazing. But I personally wasn’t a huge fan of the food and sauce. Would have hoped for better flavors and sauces. Drinks were great though. And the

Haven't been to Charritos in a while so I decided to stop by. Charritos has the luxury of having a great view of Manhattan on BLVD East. You can typically find parking on BLVD or they have valet at times. Once inside I noticed how dark and old it was. The tables and chairs were old wood and the seats were uncomfortable. The service was just ok. The server just kind of came over and asked what we wanted and that was it. We had the guacamole which was decent. The plus side of the guacamole is that it is made fresh in front of you however you like it. The salsa was decent also. I had the chicken enchiladas and my friend had the vegan Taquitos and we shared the fish tacos. The food was very bland and underwhelming. On the plus side there are vegan options for those that are vegan. We had sangria to drink which was just ok. I recall Charritos' food being way better than this in the past but the menu was limited and the food was bland. It's kind of unfortunate for the location.

This place has nice views of the NYC skyline! But the rest, it's just overpriced Mexican food. We started with chips and salsa and an order of something similar to flautas ( I forgot the name) along with a modelo for my fiancé and a pina colada for me. It was tasty! Then I ordered the shrimp tacos and my fiancé had the birria tacos. Food was okay, nothing to rave about or tell family/friends they have to immediately try this place. I will say this though, I'd like to come and sit outside when the weather is warm because that view of NYC skyline is amazing.

First off, the food here is amazing! The vegetable enchiladas are simply they best I've ever had anywhere with the most delicious rice and beans. The service however is DREADFUL! Not that the wait staff isn't trying, they're just simply ISN'T any waitstaff. We were there for dinner and it was busy. I only ever saw one server and two assistant servers (both pleasant but neither of which could speak much English which made it challenging to ask for needed items). Our server never returned to check on things. We had to ask the assistants repeatedly for more drinks, side of sour cream and a salt shaker, which I had to finally go to the kitchen to fetch for myself. Our server was super nice but clearly stretched so thin he couldn't give anyone much attention. SOOOO much pride is taken here with the food, the decor and the ambiance. Why not with the service??? I think they had more hosts working than servers. And this wasn't just an off night. We have been here many times when the service has been exactly the same. Charrito's... you've got the food, you've got the ambiance now get some SERVERS!!!!!
