This restaurant is a treasure. A nondescript outside belies an amazing dining experience. The food and service are top tier. The place is immaculately clean. Go here now!

Recommend the eggplant rollatini or any of the veal dishes. Nice that it's BYOB so we can bring our own red wine. Note that there's the main dinning room on the left and a fancier room to the back right. Plenty of parking.

I went to this restaurant for the first time. I ordered an extra large Bruschetta Pizza for $27.66. This was the worst pizza I have ever gotten. They sell the pizza as a gourmet pizza. The quality of the diced tomatoes, onions fresh garlic, and fresh basil only covered 70% of the entire pizza. When I called them to express my disappointment their answer was that is the way we make our pizza. You would think that a neighborhood restaurant would want to gain business instead of brushing a new customer off. If you are looking for a Bruschetta I suggest going to Scalia's on Brighton Ave in Long Branch. They know how to satisfy their customers. I only went to this restaurant because it was late and four blocks from my house. I will never go back to this restaurant again. An extra large pizza with the proper quantity of toppings only costs approximately 10% of the cost of the pizza. This is why this restaurant only has a 3.5 rating!

The first time I went here the food was great. The second time it was awful. I can gamble at a casino that way, but not at a restaurant. I will not be back.

The atmosphere was fine and the people very friendly, but go for the food - it is genuinely good! I was , however, a bit disappointed with the service, but I am hoping our server was just having an off night. They were not busy when we arrived, but our party of 6 was not permitted to sit at a table set for 5 where we thought conversation would be better even though we understood there would be less room. Two salads came out with the wrong dressing. We were given additional bread without additional butter and had to ask for it. One in our party asked for his pasta to be served on the side with the same sauce that was on his chicken- the wrong sauce was brought out. It took a little time to get the server's attention and she openly admitted it was her fault, but the replacement did not arrive at the table until we were essentially done with our meals, so that was disappointing.

Last few times I ordered, I put in the notes to cook the pizza well done. It never was, making it hard to fold and keep the toppings on the slice when eating. Was always better the next day when I heated in a toaster oven. Last order (about a month ago), the cheese on a pepperoni pizza tasted really low quality, like artificial shredded cheese. I didn't get sick necessarily, but it didn't agree with me either. I had my dinner that night, but couldn't finish the leftover pizza. EDIT: on more than one occasion, pizzas we've ordered arrived just above room temp as well.Otherwise, sauce itself is really good. As well as garlic knots, salads, and desserts. I really appreciate how they use pitted olives in salads.

What a hidden gem. We had dinner in the dining room. For appetizers we had mussels in marinara and eggplant rollintini. Both were delicious. Dinner came with soup or salad. The chicken soup was excellent. The vodka sauce and the shrimp franchise were both delicious. Service was friendly and great.

Hands down the best lasagna I’ve ever had. Food is sooooo tasty, wish the portions were a little bigger but I’ll live.

I really enjoy going to LaScarpetta pizza in West Long Branch.... They are very nice and always willing to go above and beyond... Recently I went there for their Sicilian pizza. They were out for the day... The gentleman behind the counter offered to make me a few slices... And he did! It was delicious.. He honestly didn't have to do that.. Most place would not have offered. Their Sicilian is the best! Crunchy crust on the outside and warm soft dough on the inside....
