Sesame noodles with peanut sauce appetizer is listed as an appetizer, but the portion was huge, The noodles were tasty and a genuine bargain for a low price. I’ve been eating here for 30 years. I’m now only in the area 1-2x/year. I always thought wonton 88 was pretty good Chinese food but this year, idk what changed but it is not great. Not horrible but something is different. I’m going to eat it because it was expensive but I don’t think I’ll be coming back again. Sad.

Staff were nice and friendly. Fairly priced. I ordered chicken and broccoli with pork fried rice. The rice was yellow rice and not fried. Make sure when you order fried wontons that you get them pan fried and not deep fried. Deep fried was not edible and like eating a rock.

Recently moved to the area and am a bit of a Chinese food snob. Although this place looks abandoned, the food makes up for the lack of appearance. The staff is friendly and always working hard. My wife and I couldn't believe the negative reviews of the place. The peaks I have snuck of the kitchen looked clean and compensated for the outside appearance. It's not a pretty place. Get over it. We have ordered here over 10 times in the last 6 months. We are new to the area and were scared to try it because of all the bad reviews. Everything we've had has been absolutely perfect and I wish people would give it a chance now that it has new ownership. On my way to get dinner now.

It was ok. Got beef lomein not enough beef flavor and spareribs were tasteless. The place needs to be fixed. Ceiling tiles falling down. Stains on ceiling. Seemed dirty all around. Was nervous about food poisoning. Won't be going back. I will take the longer ride to Tings in Bloomingdale.
