I know you can read several bad comments about this place... but they are all over a year ago... they reopened a few months ago which is when I started going... and all their dishes are very tasty.. .abundant and with my good attention from everyone who works there! ....for people who had a bad experience before, it's time to give them another chance and they won't be disappointed! I don't know if they have changed owners or not... I just know that since they reopened the place I visit them often and I really enjoy their different dishes! The only thing that needs to be improved is the stretcher... but everything else is excellent!!!! Keep in that way!

The decline and downfall of the empireRemember I still loved the place back thenI saw this restaurant start up from just a tiny spaceThen bloomed into a really great placePortions were nice and large, Ají just right, paired with salad and fries, a slice of cold-cake tierThough some may disagree whether it was just right for the childrenI know as a child I loved the heat, but in the beginning it did seem inconsistent at timesOne time; still as a kid, it was overwhelming hot, still finished, and I liked itMy stomach did notStaff at one point was pretty goodAt its peak it truly was something, dare I say the best in the area? MaybeSince that time more restaurants have sproutedTastiness differs, but it seems this specific market is unsustainable in the areaTurn over rates might be better off, left outSure the place barely resembles the once proud peak of the dish, but I still like passing by every now and thenHope they can make a comeback!

This place, I'm never ordering from this place ever again!! I've placed an order order of "Chifa de pollo" (chicken lo mein- Peruvian Style) and wonton soup. Not only did the order take almost THREE HOURS to get delivered, what was in the container was completely absurd. The food was cold! And to top it off, the noodles were as hard a stick, like they just grabbed the frozen ramen and put on some soy sauce (see video for proof). We called the lady to ask her what on earth did they use as noodles, she was very hostile and told us that we ordered fried noodles... what??? Why on earth do we want to eat fried -stick- like noodles? Immediately pointing fingers at someone else and completely ignoring our disappointment, at least they should've replaced it, but no, she chose to continue with her nonsense. Please avoid this place, not worth the money.

Place is disgusting. Dirty, bathrooms was dirty as well and no paper towels to dry hands. However food was very good.

The ambiance isn’t the best but it aesthetically resembles and reminds you of Peru. The rotisserie chicken is small but had the right seasoning. I recommend pairing it with rice and French fries. The spicy sauce has just the right amount of heat and it tastes great with any item.

Food is pretty good, I’m able to order over the phone and pick it up.

The most terrible service. The waitresses need to learn how to serve customers efficiently.

This has got to be the worst Peruvian restaurant I've ever eaten from. The service is horrendous, both from the staff and from the owners. The Pollo a la Brasa is flavorless, tiny and burnt. They are stingy with their sauces as well. Its very disgraceful as I am Peruvian and live down the block. I try to give it a try every couple of years and nothing changes. I rather walk or travel to further restaurants than give my money to this establishment again. So shameful for us Peruvians who take pride in our food.

Best Peruvian Chifa food. If you are from Peru, you will love the Tallarin frito con pollo y verduras. The arrow Chaufa de pollo...really good. I will keep visiting this place as many times come to Union City. Note: Other plates, I don't know, I didn't try yet other plates.
