Delicious! It transported me to my Ecuador. The atmosphere is pleasant, the music is very Ecuadorian (cumbia), the food exceeded my expectations, they have a fairly varied menu, there is something for all tastes. I highly recommend the pata broth, the mishki tripe and the tomato juice! A very cozy place, the service is excellent and the people are very friendly.

I've dined at Bocadito Cuencano three times, and it never disappoints. The food is delicious, the service is welcoming, if you're tired of the usual Hudson County options, give it a try. I recommend the Chicken Chaulafan Pollo a la plancha and the Bolon.

Well, my opinion is that I didn't like the mixed bolon that I ordered at all. Maybe it's because of the part of this country that they are from. They are different from the other Ecuadorian places that I have visited. Sorry is my humble opinion. Anyone from the Cuenca area can come here.

We wanted to love this place but it wasn't as good as the reviews said. All of the food (except for the salchipapas Cuencanas) was old and reheated. We ordered a caldo de gallina (more like old, reheated chicken) caldo de patas (lacked flavor) and a tripas mishqui. The tripas were so hard and rubbery, there was no way you could chew and swallow without choking. We then asked for fritata in exchange but that wasnt any better. Old, reheated pork and absolutely no flavor. The coconut water drink and the tomato de arbol drink were very good. The best thing about our experience was the waitress, Cynthia!She is so nice and was very patient with us, as we do not know Ecuadorian food that much. She was so helpful and pleasant, we'd go back just to see her again (on a weekend an hopefully get freshly made soup). Overall, this was a big disappointment and we won't be visiting any time soon.

Service is absolutely fenomenal. The you girl that was there the night of our dinner made my wife feel so comfortable since she suffer from seafood allergies. The food is delicious very authentic Ecuadorian. The soup are so delicious we definitely recommend this place if you really want to be transported to ecuador without passport ?
