What an amazing experience. You can taste the freshness in the food. There's gluten free hand made corn tortillas with all orders. I'm a vegetarian and I tried their tacos of spicy marinated cauliflower with pineapple and their Mushroom tacos. This is definitely my go to Mexican spot when I don't feel like cooking at home.Vegetarian options: Great selection of vegetarian dishes
Definitely the best Mexican food around! Super authentic and fresh every time we’ve ordered. I have a gluten intolerance and I can finally have quesadillas again due to them making handmade corn tortillas. We love everything we’ve had so far and can’t wait to keep trying more! If you’re looking for a delicious authentic Mexican spot in Hudson County, def go to El Compa! Also, the owners are lovely which is an added plus.

The torta was excellent, the space clean and tidy, and the service was great. The cashier and the staff in the kitchen made sure to explain the sauce spice levels. It seems like a small family run business and the pride they showed in their storefront and food was mirrored in the flavor of the food.
