I loved the food's authentic Peruvian taste and the excellent attention from the staff. Price is reasonable too. Highly recommended!

Came on a Saturday and the Arroz con Pato was pretty good. Huge portions for a reasonable price!

Honestly you’re obviously lured in by the prices, and reviews, but to be honest it’s overrated. The customer service sucks, unless you’re what it appears to be a regular. I had like baked chicken special and it tasted like all the seasoning was just plopped on the chicken.

Ohhh boy. Go here. The ceviche con pescado was delicious. Bursting with flavor, and the spicy option was the perfect amount of heat, didn't overpower the dish at all. It's a nice little restaurant with friendly staff and a warm atmosphere, definitely gives me an excuse to go to West New York.

Authentic Peruvian food and evironment. Pleasantly surprised! Not a fancy place, but don't let that fool you! The food was delicious and priced well, too boot. My friend had the Shrimp with Green sauce. And, his partner had the grilled Pork Chops. Both looked delicious and both raved about the dishes. My wife and I had the Beef steak with Eggs on top. Also, really good. We topped off the meal with a Big Fried Rice dish/split between the 4 of us (very Authentic Peruvian dish), it had onions, meats, shrimp, calamari, clam and crab in it. It was Excellent!! Honestly, thought we'd be taking home some lunch food for the following day. But, no luck :-), we finished all to everyone's satisfaction! Happy to say that El Eslabon is right around the corner from our new place and will be returning again and again! And, yes a byo within walking distance. Now we've dotted all the I's and crossed all the T's.

They charge fees to use credit card and they don't tell you anything over the phone. They tell you a price over the phone and they charge you another price. Instead of saying sorry for the miscommunication, they tell you that that is normal. Not coming back cause of the customer

5 star. Service exceptionally good. The lunch specials were huge and epic and $8. That soup and fried chicken with rice and potatoes amazing. The green hot sauce should be sold and bottled up. Yummy yucca too. The murals beautiful. For more reviews please follow anamaglena on Instagram and annastravels on tiktok.
