I wanted to try this place out for its pizza based off the reviews. This place has great customer service but the cheese pizza I ordered was very ordinary. Will try the pizza with toppings to see if the taste is any better but the cheese pizza tasted mediocre at best. 6/10

This place is a fever dream. There are so many things wrong, structurally. Consider the decision to have this be takeout only and then serve bacon egg and cheese bagels with bacon crumbles. Crumbled bacon. Which only falls out into the seats of your car. Whoever owns this place is a madman.

I'm devastated it took me this long to try but it's tricky if you're far away since it's takeout or delivery ONLY! But well worth the hour hike for me - I mean if you're in Essex county and haven't tried the food here yet, you are missing out! The menu it's insanely wide with various options and doubted being able to do so many different cuisines soo well but I was proven wrong real quick. Asian, Mexican, Italian, pizza, wings, burgers - unbelievable! Idc what you have to do to make it happen but highly recommend a visit - jealous of everyone in north jersey (in the delivery vicinity) who can take advantage of this chefs creations. I'd be 400lbs - took FULL advantage of my trip and tried a little be of everything.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Bagels by Jarrett. I am currently working my way through the creative fresh and very tasty menu. Been a huge fan since my first bagel here but that’s just the start of a beautiful beginning. Everything Jarrett and team do they do with heart and quality. The pasta’s are so good not to mention the sauces they create to go with. The Caesar salad rivals anyone’s. The cutlets are thin and crispy. I will only mention my addiction to the potatoes and stuffing which I would gladly order all year round. The team pulls together orders and does such a great job of looking at requests accommodations. They communicate well regarding any anomalies. Your order is pulled together and on its way quickly and with precision. Clearly they are as engaged as Jarrett. I may be fan-girling here but there is very good reason to do so.

Excellent bagels! The best bagels we have ever had, better than NY or any place in Livingston. The owner could not have been nicer. Our order unfortunately was incorrect and the owner did everything in his power to make it right, he could not have been nicer. Also the gluten free bagels are the best I have ever had, the owner needs to figure out how to distribute those to the mass! I hope West Orange leaves him alone, if the situation works for him and he is successful why do they care?? He is just trying to have a small business that contributes to the community and makes money. They really should be ashamed of themselves.

It also has a diverse menu of absolutely perfect meals, curated by a chef at the top of his craft. This is the sort of place where you know for certain that every ingredient was chosen specifically for its dish; ask for substitutions to your own detriment.The prices are perfect for the amount and quality of what you get. Bagels by Jarrett is simply a place you must try, whether for breakfast lunch or dinner, for normal days or special occasions.

Absolutely delighted with Bagels by Jarret! The food is simply amazing, and Jarret’s sweet personality adds an extra touch to the experience. Chatting with him is always a blast. We’ve catered there twice, once for Thanksgiving and again for Christmas Eve, and both occasions were a hit. I never liked eggplant until I tried Jarret’s version – it’s unbelievably good! Highly recommend this spot for fantastic comfort food.

Have done both family dinner nights and catering for the recent Thanksgiving holiday through BXJ. The food is really really good. Have ordered everything from sandwiches to pizzas to pasta and multiple Italian dinners. Takeout or delivery only, but that works! Any issues or questions, the owner addresses immediately! Will continue to order from here for awhile...Dietary restrictions: We have a food allergy with a few members of our family and even on Thanksgiving, he answered my text to confirm something was good. Last night, we noticed an ingredient that was an allergy issue on one of the dinners and they remade and delivered ASAP. Cannot beat this customer service!
