This place is open by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Yelp needs to update this. The owner, Grisel, was kind enough to let me know this. It is however, a shame that its only by appointment because everything does look good. I will definitely visit you guys one day to order a birthday cake when my lil one turns 1.

Cake was absolutely delicious - hands down! But I can only give them 3 stars because, although, like I said, the cake was amazing (in taste), they did not tell me they opened at 12 on Saturdays until AFTER I placed my order. After I stressed a couple of times that I couldn't be late to my own party (with a start-time of 12:30 in another town) and wouldn't have time to pick-up the cake and make it in time, they were kind enough to have it ready for me the night prior, however, they gave me a mere 20 minutes' notice to come pick it up; they called me and said I could come pick it up, but they'd only be available for 20 minutes. Also, they did not leave a contact number, so I had to hunt them down, messaging them on FB and asking around town if anyone knew how to get in touch with them. They said they told me they weren't at the shop during the week and that all I had to do was message them but, no, all they had to do was leave me, the customer, an alternative contact number. And the cake, although lovely, was not at all exactly what we'd discussed. Some of the details were completely off or missing (even though they had a pic of the cake I wanted). They should've made clear that they were going to create their version of what I'd wanted. I had a budget I'd wanted to stick with, but the initial cakes I was shown were upwards of $250 - not something I was willing to spend on a kids' birthday cake. Although the cake itself was a crowd-pleaser, I'll have to go back to using my tried-and-true Dominican bakery in another town. The owner was very nice, but she definitely was not thorough in her communication...at all. And I was looking so forward to being able to use them in the future.

I ordered cupcakes for my daughter's baby shower and they were so delicious. Many of my guests asked where I got because they were so awesome. I highly recommend Garden Bakeshop and will use them for all my parties.

When it comes to cakes I'm very picky, that's why I always drove about one hour away to the same place to get my cakes , there were no other place that had good cakes closer to me. I'm so glad I found SWEET GARDEN Bakeshop because not only is way closer to me but everything takes much better, the place is clenner the people are so nice and helpful. I'm just in love with this place. Try it and you'll see what I'm talking about

This place is absolutely amazing! I needed a cake that had some detail, I went to two other bakeries that both said they wouldn't be able to do it exactly like the picture I had. I decided to stop in here since it's right by my house. I am so happy I did! When I showed them the picture they let me know it'd be no problem! The cake was delicious and for how heavy, beautiful, and delicious as it was, it was so reasonably priced. You have the option of paying half at the time of order and the other half at pickup or all at pickup. They are so accommodating and the nicest people! I handed a card to everyone who asked about the cake and will continue to recommend them. This place is a must try!!!

I had a great experience at Sweet Garden Bake Shop on Main Street last week. The owner was extremely accommodating to my request for a rather large catered affair in early April. She offered above and beyond her wonderful specialty items; flan shooters, dulce de leche fillings and, tres leches cake favors, just to name a few! Stop in!You won't be sorry!
