Prior to Covid this was a really good place but now it's just ordinary. The staff is also not as nice as they used to be.

I called the restaurant beforehand to speak to them about my food allergies. I spoke to a woman and she pretended to listen to my concerns. When we got our order home and opened it, everything that i had advised her i couldn't eat was included in the food! When i called and notified her of their mistake, she denied I ever said anything about my allergies and never apologized or offered any credits. I will not be returning there! The remaining edible food was just ok. Not worth the hassle and I really felt disrespected.

Solidly average Chinese takeout spot. Our pickup order was correct and ready fast! They are still very much operating with a Covid prevention mentality, speak through a mic deal with plastic walls up. Fried rice could use some work, I personally am not a fan of yellow rice based fried rice and that's what's going on here. Wonton soup was good!

Absolutely delicious! The best I've ever had! Freshest ingredients! Always consistent. I highly recommend! Update: the last time I ordered they no longer have the ribs (which were great) and the rest of the meal was OK. I was disappointed.

Asian dishes are big on cooking with soy sauce. At this place I’m guessing that they are trying to save on soy sauce which can be pretty expensive. My fried rice and lo mein were cooked with barely any soy sauce. The fried rice looked white and had no taste and the lo mein noodles were white and had no taste. Not sure how they get by with this.

Honestly the best Chinese take out place in the area. Prior to the pandemic, they had some dishes that you can only get in New York Chinatown. Now it looks like they pared down the menu and only do the common Americanized Chinese food items. But they do it well. If you were to get a shrimp lo mein from TS Ma or Hunan Taste in Montclair, and compare it to the shrimp lo mein at Lotus Oriental, it'll pretty much be the same, only LO will be a lot cheaper.
