Not super fancy. If you want to go somewhere to have drinks and eat delicious food this is the place. Parking no problem. Drink were strong and delicious. They have 3 areas, bar area which is more like a sports bar, the dining area near the window so u can talk, and the brunch area which looks more like a date area, sometimes they have music in this area

I wanted to take my older sister out here for her birthday, but the service was awful so we just left. We were standing a bit until we asked if someone was going to seat us. We were told eventually we could grab any seat, which was fine. Until, we were waiting for someone to service us, but no one came so we went up and asked who would take our order. After finding someone we were still waiting for 10 more minutes and just decided to leave. Overall, the food looked nice, but the service wasn't worth the half-hour wait to still not even be seen.

This was my first visit to this establishment and it definitely won't be my last.. I had a great time, the food was excellent, the music selection was on point, the people and staff were exceptional. I am not a paid spokesperson, I recommend South Valley BBQ & Lounge to anyone looking for everything I mentioned.

The smoked wings fell off so bad. When they first opened as South valley I was never disappointed ordering. But now... The wings are dry, you can barely taste the seasoning/rub and often cold. I keep trying to give this place a shot and even send comments while ordering. But I give up. It's nothing like the original Suzy Qs. HOWEVER, the collards are good.Also the atmosphere is hood. Hookah everywhere. The crowd used to be diverse and grown and sexy. Now? Le sigh... ??

Uhh tik tok set me up once again. Our waiter was lost in the sauce and knew nothing about the menu. Once we realized this we thought it would be better to play it safe and just order a burger and fries, a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, and catfish strips. Catfish was flavorless, asked for the burger to be medium well and it was damn near rare, and the chicken sandwich was full of pickles even though i asked for it to be without and never got my sweet potato fries. They did have good music and the drinks were nice and strong!
