I will give two stars because the food was good. However, the racial undertone left a lot to be desired. You have a Black and White family at a table. The server gave the White family large portions leaving the Black family to have to ask the server to equal the portions. Even the White family comment on what was going on - the portions was too large, specifically for their children. Not sure what this was about but it smell of fugazzi. Will not be returning and will not recommend.

Overall the food wasn’t all that great. It just all lacked enough seasoning in my opinion. I didn’t have any of the sushi but my son said his was good. It felt very rushed and part of a good hibachi experience is “the show” that goes along with the food. Not really much showmanship. Prices are reasonable.

It has gone down drastically like many other businesses since the pandemic. The people are friendly and we never wait long but the food really isn't as good a it used to be.We went tonight and the food was so garlicky and not as good as it's been in the past.

A great Japanese place in a strip mall that offers great food, and abundant indoor seating. Sushi tasted fresh The salmon teriyaki was also great. Friendly service too! Service was attentive and helpful. Overall a great place for lunch or dinner.

i am not one to leave a review, good or bad, ever. but my reservation was at 6:30, it's 7:10, and they told me that there are still another 10 minutes. i'm not sure I can trust that, because they told me 10 minutes half an hour ago. no one who works here knows what's going on, and it is very obvious. the area where i've been waiting for over an hour is freezing and there is no where to sit. i would review the food, but i haven't been able to sit yet so i wouldn't know.

I really don't know what happened to this place it was absolutely the best, but for my daughter's birthday in November, also December 15, and last night January 18th, the sushi is literally almost half the size and not nearly as good or fresh, remember this place was my favorite in Union county mind you. I realize restaurants can have a bad day that's why I went back 2 more times in as many months and last night was it NO MORE I tried and it pains me to say it but me my kids with their own families my brother's and sisters with they're families and my cousins have made a pact were finished with Fujiyama. This is a shame cause it was my WHOLE family's favorite place for year's, now I know the ownership is going to say different BUT you know full and well you shrunk the size of your sushi and the quality to it is SOOOOOOOOOOO EVIDENT, no excuses can be made for that to happen 3 times in less than 3 months. Anybody out there with any other sushi restaurant suggestions I'm all ears.

Last night we went to Fujiyama Mama for my wife's birthday celebration, a party of adults and children totalling 18 heads. It was the worst dining experience I have had in many years. I ordered steak and shrimp. The steak was a low quality cut, and was tough, dry and bland. The rice and noodles were also very plain, lacking ingredients and flavor. The vegetables were left in a pile on the grill until all the other food was finished cooking, resulting in some of them being soggy, while the rest were crunchy and raw. The shrimp were OK, but also not very flavorful. I would have given two (MAYBE three) stars for the food, but my real gripe is regarding the service. My seven year old daughter did not like the food at all and wouldn't eat. We told her she couldn't have ice cream until she ate her dinner. After she still wouldn't eat (and I really don't blame her), we asked for her ice cream in a plastic soup-to-go container. The staff refused, responding only with "we don't do that". Are you kidding me? You can't provide a take home container for a 7 year old child?! Now I was mad. But the worst is yet to come. After singing happy birthday to my wife, and presenting her with her birthday dessert, they wouldn't honor their advertised free meal for her birthday. Now I'm heated. We brought a party of EIGHTEEN PEOPLE. There is a big sign on the front window that advertises that the birthday girl eats free. And they will not honor it! I will never even consider eating here again, and I will advise all of my friends, family, and acquaintances to stay far away as well. This could have been a positive experience, albeit the mediocre food, but management really dropped the ball on this one. ZERO STARS IF I COULD.

Sushi service is very good that have a liquor license and a go selection of sake. The ambiance is subpar but adequate . They have a hibachi side which I have not attended but seems popular . All in all a good selection for sushi.
