It was a spectacular experience. A novel take on Mediterranean/Indian fusion cuisine. The food composition was pleasing. Every course was well thought out and had the desired effect. We will definitely be back to try their regular menu. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.

I've been to this restaurant several times, it just never disappoints. Every time I go I just want to say bring me one of each, of course not possible. This time I went with some friends and family, they had a 7 course dinner special that was delicious and interesting. From the Persian yogurt & cucumber dip on pop-crackers to Baklava with Saffron, it was all creatively put together and served. It was my first time ordering lamb at a restaurant because I don't usually like lamb. I ordered the Saffron and Cardamom Braised Lamb Shank, let's say I will be ordering that again.

Spice Bazaar had a 7 course tasting for the first time. As an avid dinner at Spice Bazaar we were very excited to try the tasting. It was absolutely delicious, we had the opportunity to taste many dishes that were completely new to us and the restaurant, many we hope will make it to the regular menu. The four of us loved every bite and we hope this becomes a regular event at the restaurant. Excellent job done by everyone!

Spice Bazar tries to portray themselves as upscale Indian restaurant. But really they are not. They have no liquor license. Even soft drink is very limited. We took two appetizers and two main course to share among three of us. The appetizers were very good. In the main course the main item was mutton biriyani and it was so far the worst we have ever faced. The parking is a nightmare as they have no parking of their own. One needs to be very careful how they preprint the tips based on percentage. They include the tax part in the tips amount also, which is not right. I have specifically noted in their bill though I paid generous tips as the service was quite good. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone because of their tips calculation scheme and the parking matter. The food was very expensive for the portion when I compare with other very good Indian restaurants in Nee Jersey, specifically in the Oak Tree Road area.

For Indians who regularly eat and enjoy the authentic flavors and spices of India and can find great options throughout NYC and NJ - Spice Bazaar doesn't make the cut at all. Our group found the food just mid: bland, lacking flavor, not yummy like we hoped.

This was a somewhat disappointing dining experience. If you’re going to charge fine dining prices than i have some expectations that need to be met.1. Dont sit us next to your service table tower where u stow your utensils and plates. Move it elsewhere, this isnt a Chinese buffet place.2. 20% service tax included and although servers were pleasant i need you to pack my food. Dont provide me containers. Also my water glass was not filled. Felt rushed to place order even though we arrived 2.5 hours before closing. Mind you restaurant was pretty empty 9:30 pm onwards.3. Near 20 for apps, and mid 30s for entrees. Ordered about 10 altogether and not one impressed.4. Spinach chaat was just overpowered w sweet chutney. Thats not how u do chaat. Cleverly substituted dried cranberries for authentic version of fresh pomegranate ($$). ?5. Methi malai matar was average at best.6, daal makhni (lentils) were delicious and complimentary.Overall not a bad place but not a good value.Dishes had a reheated feeling and were lukewarm when served.

The food is varied and delicious. Our favorites include shrimp alleppey, dal makhni lentils, and the new mango and coconut chicken curry. Also the appetizers spinach chaat, shrimp tacos, and the samosa platter. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Wanted to check this place after I saw their video on IG. Definitely overpriced. Tacos were underspiced, Tika masala was too much tomatoish. Overall tastes like average Indian place where you pay $15 on top. Also they are BYOB. Waiters were nice

Food and vibes were amazing! If you love Indian food please visit this place! Service was immaculate, I'm sorry to say I didn't get our servers name but he greeted us at the door and sat us as well. We ordered Mango lassi to drink which was sweet and refreshing, best I've had. Do NOT skip the fish tacos, absolutely delicious. Chicken biriyani, chicken was tender and moist and the rice was seasoned so well. Lamb vindaloo was creamy and spicy. Mutton curry has an excellent flavor but it had too much bones for my liking. I definitely recommend this place

We rarely eat Indian food because we don't know how to order. Our waiter answered every question and there were so many choices for vegetarian and fish eaters like we are. We found the food outstanding and the price very reasonable. We even took leftovers home and had dinner the next night so that makes it extremely reasonable. We will be back.
