Westville Brewery is one of those small South Jersey breweries that fly under the radar. You won't find them at your local liquor store or at your neighborhood bar, and the space itself is one of the smallest breweries I've ever been to. But don't let that fool you; this place packs a punch.I've been here several times over the years and just stopped in on a Friday afternoon with my girlfriend. They had 11 beers on tap plus a hard seltzer (and they let you choose flavorings for the seltzer so there's just about something for everyone), plus a slushy machine with a beer slushy and a seltzer slushy. We each tried two flights so we had everything on the menu. Excellent variety and quality in what they offer. And then I left my backpack. I had gone down the shore for the weekend and couldn't come back right away but I called and they said they could hold onto it until Tuesday. My girlfriend and I came back on Tuesday intending to just grab the bag but ended up staying for a few beers and so glad we did! We sat at the bar talking with some of the regulars and the bartenders. They were offering free hotdogs and barbecue chicken from a food truck and it genuinely felt like having dinner and drinks with friends. I've never felt so welcome at a brewery before. Bottom line: this place is an amazing place to hang out. Excellent beer, table games, Phillies on the tv, friendly people... what more do you need?! We will definitely come back!
