I was curious about The Roasted Breadfruit after noticing it along route 15. There are 2 floors to the restaurant so we headed upstairs for a table and to say hello to the server. We were welcomed with a smile and friendly service. The food was AMAZING. The Jerk Shrimp Bruschetta was delicious and unique. Stopped in to pick up lunch, decided to stay. Ordered jerk chicken from very friendly hostess who explained to me why they don't serve steamed veg (not so popular?) and why they don't serve ackee (difficult to find it fresh). Great ambiance with reggae music and barbecue jerk smoke. Fantastic restaurant. The best ribs ,brisket and pulled pork I ever had. you won't leave hungry no matter what you order. the sides are also delicious: we sampled caramelized carrots/string beans, mac & cheese, slaw, smoked red beans, and broccoli...all excellent. Friendly staff and excellent service. No liquor license yet but nice selection of other drinks. Pleasant "log cabin" atmosphere. Can't think of a negative. Definitely a GO TO restaurant.
