After being here a number of times, it is safe to say you can blindly order something random on the menu and it will be fantastic. Great for a weekly date night, business lunch/dinner, it is for sure a place to impress your guests! As a restauranteur myself, Il Capriccio is the Gold standard in everything they do from their fresh food, professional service, and even a warm and genuine greeting. Really, nothing comes close.

Disappointing experience- Was so excited to return after a while and was surprised an aesthetically beautiful restaurant was underwhelming with food and service. Not that busy for dinner but waited literally 30m to order our meal, had an empty drink without reorder for about 15m with no concern, and felt like an aside for a $200+ meal for 2 people. Will not return - so many better options in NJ for great Italian

I love this restaurant and am a regular customer however I was VERY DISAPPOINTED last night when they had the entire bar and lounge area closed for a.”Private Party”. I had guests with me and had planned to relax a bit before dinner. Instead, there was no place to go but immediately to the table. Someone should have advised me when I made the dinner reservation. Also I have noticed that the dress code has really been diminished. Jeans and t shirts are now apparently acceptable. The code calls for jackets for men. There were only a handful last night . I hope it was a one off problem and not the dumbing down of a former classy upscale Venue.
Definitely a 5 star experience! My first time after hearing from friends how special this place is. Loved it! First Class Traditional Italian Food. Service was Excellent! Shocked how busy it was on a Tuesday, however it was a week before Xmas! Beautiful inside! A must to try especially for that special occasion. You won't be disappointed!

Loved everything about this restaurant. The service was outstanding! Food was fantastic. I had the best fennel salad I've ever had before. It was a bit noisy, but other than that I highly recommend going to Il Capriccio.

By far the best Italian restaurant in the area. When I say by far... I mean no one is even close to this establishment. Monday night and it was packed. You don't pack a restaurant full on a Monday if you aren't 5 star. Definitely 5 star. I had the Bronzino and it was excellent! Recommend 1000000%

I've past your restaurant a 1000 times over the years and said to my wife we have to try it. We finally decided to dine for our Anniversary last night. I shouldn't have been surprised, but all aspects were 1st class. From the Maître De, to the professional waiters, ambience, and most important the food was beyond excellent. I'm sorry it took so long. We will return and become one of your regular diners. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Il Capriccio stands out with excellent service and excellent food. I had the Iberica Pork Rack and it was tender and juicy. Finished off with the warm apple crisp which was very good!
This restaurant never seems to be on any of the best lists. I don't know why. It's clearly one of the finest restaurants in NJ. It's a fine dining, white cloth, professional waiter restaurant like you would find in NYC. I can't say enough about the food quality and service. The ambience is old world Tuscany. Doesn't matter what you order. It's all good.

Every dining experience here is a unique treat. The ambience never fails to satisfy you. The service is always above impeccable. Our waiter Jose made our dining experience truly a memorable event. The food, the Caesar Salad, the Dover Sole and the Lamb specials were perfect. Salvatore is a master at selecting the perfect wine to accompany the meal. The cocktails from the bar are mixed to perfection. What more can you ask of a restaurant and its staff. It is no wonder that the clientele is loyal.
