Sounds like a typical trash Wildwood gimmick bar. Moved away from that town 25 years ago(my hometown by the way) and never had any desire to go back. People ask me all the time if I miss it? and the answer is always a resounding NO

Came here, ordered a Buffalo chicken salad. The salad came unmixed, overflowing, and on a flat plate. The chicken was drenched in buffalo sauce and I believe is the reason I felt sick later that evening. The drinks were weak, and overpriced. My wife and sister-in-law split a fishbowl and it was so poor tasting they asked the bartender to dump it so they could at least walk out with the bowl.Inedible and overpriced. Avoid like the plague.

I can't give a fair rating (it will be amended when i return during a mid season trip) came there on last day open , food was so mediocre, but again, last day open for the season, so I kinda get it. But the kicker for me was my drink I ordered, was 30$. ( didn't know, price wasn't labeled) but it was because it was a souvenir fish bowl. Which I didn't care for. Feel like you gotta let somebody know that. Just my opinion. Otherwise, the atmosphere. Location and staff were cool and I'll definitely be back. But not for another souvenir cup , that's for sure.

My bf had a bacon cheeseburger with Mac and cheese and I had a Mac and cheese with pork skillet and both were so good! I’m definitely coming back the next time I’m in town. P.S. drinks are worth it!

Went there over the labor day weekend had a drink and left, went back later in the day. He judged us at the door and with the coldest demeanor how could I help you.Excuse me, it's labor day weekend with the flow of people coming and going. You want people coming in to your establishment to spend money and have a good time. Excuse me but not once did you stop anyone at the entrance of the establishment. We walked in and we felt so uncomfortable and judged so we left that is so unprofessional. That's are first time there and to be judged because we are Puerto Rican. It's so sad, never again. ?
2 years of going to Wildwood (2022, 2023), both times visited Capt'n Jacks. First year was alright, food was good, but nothing special... but 2023, both girlfriend and I ordered different burgers with Cajian fries... they were fantastic! The burgers were so good. I had Texas Burger I think, forget what she got... Sat down on the bar patio in 2022, up top in 2023. It's a nice place to stop for food and drinks.

Save your money. Looks like they stopped stocking for season. We got cold chicken on one meal. I mean out of bag cold chicken. The other meal the bread had mold on it !! Horrible Drinks were bad tooo Save your money!

Stopped by to grab a drink while strolling along the boardwalk. Service was great at the bar. Tried a dirty banana and pina colada. The pina colada came served in pineapple and was tasty! The dirty banana was pretty good as-well. Great way to cool off on a hot day.
