The power went out while we were there. They came out and apologized and weren't sure how long it would be, but ensured us they still had the full menu, minus the soda machines.They ran around in the dark and in the heat until finally the lights came back on.

Definitely need to make this a stop when you're on the Boardwalk. Food comes quickly and is decent diner Food. A blast from the past! I had chicken fingers and they were very good. Fries also are fresh and hot when you get them. Will always come here as a stop when at the Shore. Recommend it!!!

Way over priced!!Practically every dish sold here will run you $15 or more. For $20 you can get a large pizza from one of Wildwoods many famous pizza stops. I refuse to pay $16 for 5 chicken fingers and a handful of French fries.

first time at the doo wop, and man, was my mind blown! the atmosphere is fantastic, the service was excellent, and i will never be able to express exactly how good the food was! hubs got his diner usual (2 eggs over medium), daughter got chocolate chip pancakes, her friend got the oreo pancakes, and i got the mixed berry and granola pancakes. 1st thing to know: i'm not big on eating pancakes, but something about the description said i had to have them. 2nd thing to know: i love me some syrup. these pancakes were so sweet, i did not need to use any syrup! the flavor was AMAZING. i will get these pancakes as long as they are on the menu. and the menu is LARGE--a lot of variety. the doo wop diner is now a family favorite and we'll be back next year!

Actually did not get to eat here, the hostess on duty wanted t leave room for bigger parties even though she had 2 large tables for 10 available and several booths and 4 tops . We are a party of 6 but eat like we’re 8 and we have big boys . She sat a few ahead of us and had no foresight or imagination to accommodate us. I’ve been a server for close to 40 years, Never have I worked in an establishment that would turn money away because of who might walk through the door. Totally outrageous! Never been embarrassed like that .

What a cool little place to grab a bite to eat and get out of the sun for a bit. Love the theme, enjoyed listening to some oldies but goodies. Service was attentive and friendly. Can't go wrong with a root beer float. Food was yummy, they make a burger done right.
