Not as good as it was last year. Pirate Pete's soda's were ALL FLAT. The beer selection as blah and their wasn't as many vendors this year. We are glad that Butch's BBQ

If you like eating standing up this place is for you. They do have bleachers to sit on, metal hot ones. The food Jacks ribs yum, the crab cake sand which for $10. skip it, the cheap crappy bun even makes it worse. The fried so called French, just plain pizza dough fried 3 for $7. It's a no. I really think just enjoy the entertainment and eat at a local joint would be great. Bring your own chair!
Wife and I went Friday evening we had chosen to eat at the place next to the real estate office at 1st and old new jersey ave, the pulled pork was ok but the brisket was very tough and chewy and the ribs although covered with sauce were very dry. They had some nice vendors and the music was great. They also have a tent with tables to eat under but have no chairs to sit on but you can bring your own, and the beer is cold.

If you like barbecue, if you enjoy smokey meat in your mouth then this is the place for you! You can find everything from barbecued ribs to shrimp on a stick, to roasted corn drenched in butter an awesome seasoning . it's always a great time at the barbecue festival live music, activities, great food! what more can I ask for? Come early as the lines can sometimes be very long and if there's a guy selling sodas in a tin can grab one very delicious

This is an annual event in North Wildwood. Teams come from near and far to compete in the championship. There are opportunities to become a judge and taste all of the competitors food for a fee as a class has to be taken first. Loads of previous winners have stands set up selling all manner of BBQ and also vendors of all sorts with BBQ related wares. This is also a Blues Festival so there are many bands playing all weekend long. Always a good time with good food and music. Definitely a must every Summer at the shore.
