WILDWOOD ‘S WAY!

Cool bar on second floor with live music weekly. They are open year round and it gets crowded in the summer time. Its on pacific ave and easy to get there from the boardwalk. They have big selection of beer to purchase and lots of food to order when hungry!

Good place to meet friends and have a cocktail. A lot of sports on the televisions.

4 of us went in after the Burne plaza concert to see The Legend Billy Jack. Bar is very nice and Billy Jack never disappoints but the service in the bar was horrible!! The bartender Pete was so ignorant and acted like he was doing us a favor serving us.He never asked us if we want something to eat, maybe menus. Then I asked what the girl across the bar was drinking in a little bucket and his reply was RUM. Really?I wanted a good fruity speciality drink and I got terrible bay breeze. I live down here and will never go back!! Terrible attitude!!

Band is extremely loud on the 2nd floor. We tried it, but moved to the first floor. The hostess did warn us and was helpful to seat us downstairs when requested. There ended up being a guitarist on that level as well. He has a dancer with him and both roam the floor to each table which was a bit odd. During a mummers routine, it became quite awkward and even our server was rolling his eyes at it. Service was a bit slow to first be acknowledged. Food took some time, but we were not in a rush. The BBQ combo was a chef's favorite, but missed the mark. The smoke chicken was dry, coleslaw was not good, ribs were under cooked - very rough and not tender. The pulled pork helped save the dish. The rigatoni alla vodka with breaded chicken was a pleasant surprise in a blush sauce. Overall, atmosphere was not for us, food was just ok, and service slow.Parking: Park on street using Park Mobile app

Quite disappointed in this place. We were a party of 3 and it started off with us ordering a mango purée drink and instead we got a beer. This got replaced so it ended up being resolved but the drink was mostly alcohol, and little flavor. Our biggest qualms were with the food:We went there to get salmon to which the waiter said they were out of salmon and a bunch of other items he listed, which was essentially all seafood items on the menu. So we settled on a burger, and rest of the party shared a bbq platter. We asked for a burger with NO Cheese and the burger came with cheese but with double patty, so we spoke up and not even 2 minutes later the server comes back with a “fixed“ burger but with one less patty. It was obvious that one of the patties were simply removed since there was cheese residue on it. It wasn’t even a good burger..Additionally, with the bbq platter, the meats were EXTREMELY dry. The ribs had no flavor and were so dry and so was the chicken - hard to chew and cut and also hard to swallow. We asked for a side of bbq sauce so that could at least add SOME flavor yet the waiter charged us for the extra sauce..At the end, there was also an 18% gratuity already included in the bill, so not sure if that’s always a thing or that the server knew he wasn’t going to get a solid tip from us and added it himself..Only came to Wildwood for vacation but if I come back again, I would make note to not come back here to eat again.

We were there for dinner while visiting Wildwood. Atmosphere is nice. Service was ok. The food however was not very good. We had ribs that were dry and gray looking. We also ordered the shrimp tacos and the shrimp were tiny frozen shrimp that were over cooked. We are literally next to the ocean and I would think the seafood quality would be much better. My niece ordered the Mac and cheese with pulled pork. It had terrible flavor and the pulled pork was dry and a weird consistency. The plain Mac and Cheese was ok. I expected the quality of food to be way better for the prices. Between my sister and I we spent over $250 for the 7 of us. Not worth the money!! We were very disappointed.

Only 8 people counting children in the bar/ restaurant. Took 30 minutes just for an ice water and I ordered a beer and never got it! Saw another couple walk in and waited about 15 minutes and the server never went over. They walked out. This should never happen when there’s only 8 people in the place. Old City Pub has only taken took seconds for drinks!

I got the strawberry walnut salad with no goat cheese. Excellent. My waitress, Maura, was also excellent. She was very kind and informative. The restaurant itself was a very cozy atmosphere filled with kind staff. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. It has a wide variety of food items.

We were upstairs listening to the band called Jump The Line. Our waitress was super friendly and our drinks were brought to us very quickly. We ordered the pork nachos, and they were absolutely delicious! Enjoyed the band, loved the food and the prompt, friendly waitress. This is a great place to grab dinner and its close to the boardwalk. We will definitely be going back.

I ordered the Proper Fish & Chips with extra tartar sauce & malt vinegar. It was a to go order. HORRIBLE! $24.00 for 2 very small pieces of soggy, mushy fish and a whole lot of fried and check out their idea of extra tarter & vinegar. It was not busy either (about 3 tables) so my order should’ve been perfect. This is my second time trying The Cove. Our first visit was disappointing but wanted to give them another chance. A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY! I’m a local and will never recommend The Cove to anyone. Just terrible! Don’t waste your time or money. YUCK!

What they did well - arguably one of the best fire roasted pineapple Margaritas I have tasted on the island What they did good - food wise the shrimp fish taco were good but you can get fish tacos in other spots on the island that are superb What they didn't do - excel in customer service they allowed patrons to walk out because they were never seen by staff ... there was no one to greet them at the door so they straight up walked out I watched a party of four and a party of five walk out within half hour of each other All of this while The staff was arguing in front of patrons The manager had zero control over the staff The older waitress was arguing with the bartender, the older waitress was arguing with the manager, the younger waitress was being run ragged by a large party Let's just say I always give a second chance so I will never say never but if the owners want to draw in more diners and patrons they need to look from within ... it isn't the drinks nor the food Service with a smile Go in the back with your dirty laundry ... never in front of customers do you show anything but a wonderful experience Signed Hopeful to return if for only another margherita

Employees were amazing. Very nice and efficient. Cute little place. However, the seafood did not taste right. All fish dishes that we got didn’t taste right. I don’t know if it was old but made me very worried. Other than the fish dishes everything else was good.Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating.
