Used to go there but the owner is a nasty guy. Picking on harmless customers. Won’t ever go back there.

this place is very nice…and me and my wife bought cookies and stuff from here before…so today, I decided to go in and place my order for a birthday cake I needed for this Saturday March 30th for my wife’s birthday…I waited for the counter person patiently because she was sort of busy and I noticed that…when she became available, I started to tell her what I wanted…and after like 10 seconds, I immediately felt like she did not want to even hear me talk…did I say something wrong?…did I say something she didn’t like?…i don’t know…all I know is that I didn’t want to bother her anymore so I said ok and just left the store…I felt embarrassed because their were 2 other customers waiting to place their order…I’m not here to bash anyone but I am going to say this…if you don’t like the job your working just quit!…because I’m a descent person, I’m humble and I treat people with respect…and if I was working at a business like this…I will be helpful, not nasty

I've heard so much about this bakery and have had some of their cookies at get togethers but have never gone there as it's a bit out of my way. But...the other day I finally went and bought an assortment of a few things and boy was I happy! Everything we had was great! When I need something from a bakery, this is worth the extra time ! Try them! I hope you'll enjoy the experience!

I really wanted to like this place, but am super disappointed. When I went in to order a birthday cake for my mom, the girl that took my order was not friendly at all. I asked for a red velvet cake, she told me they can’t do that, just vanilla or chocolate. Then the other girl behind the counter interrupts and says yes, they do red velvet, and hands me a menu with all the cake flavors and fillings. Great! I wanted a very simple cake, just some icing flowers on top in the colors of the invitation. I show a picture. The girl is again confused and says she needs the head chef to come out. He comes out and is also very unfriendly. He looks at the order and remarks, “oh, red velvet” and makes a face. Here we go again with the red velvet. I’m starting to get uncomfortable at this point, and ask if that’s a problem. He says no, since i’m picking up around valentine’s day it’s fine. Great! We discuss cake design, I pay and leave. Now for my favorite part! I pick up the cake, it looks beautiful, no issues. When we go to eat the cake, I noticed the actual cake is very red in color, basically food coloring bright red, not the deep red you expect from a traditional red velvet cake. I just brushed it off until we all started to actually eat the cake. Come to find out, it was not even red velvet! It was a white cake dyed red to trick us into thinking it was red velvet. I’m still honestly flabbergasted that they thought we wouldn’t notice. Red velvet has a distinct cocoa flavor, and everyone that tried the cake agreed this was just vanilla cake. Unbelievable!I gave this place a chance because it was half the price of all the other bakeries I reached out to. But I guess you get what you pay for!

My wife's family has been going here for generations, just moved in the area. Place is as good as it gets. Old school NY/NJ bakery

Tiramisu cake is TO DIE FOR. You MUST have it. It is light and creamy, but the delicate crunch of the perfectly placed lady fingers is perfection. Run there....eat it.

I didn’t think I could find another bakery that could make the seven layer cake as good as Palisades Park bakery, I was wrong the cake was moist and flavorful a winner.

Cakes were not moist at all. Not sure why all the deceiving reviews. I bought two cakes and neither one delivered.

Good find on this side of the town. The place looked closed from outside, but it was very really nice when you walked in. The rainbow cookies were good, moist, not too sweet. It is an old school dessert shop and the store carries many varieties. We will definitely sample other items when we are in the area

I absolutely love this bakery! Everything I've had is fresh and flavorful. They have a great selection to choose from and it's all baked to perfection! I first loved their donuts, but soon ventured into their danishes (pecan) and cakes (lemon and the strawberry shortcake) . If my waistline could sustain it, I'd be here everyday. But alas, I have to exercise some measure of control. Needless to say, I'm eagerly awaiting my next visit.

This spot was very good and affordable. The tiramisu was incredible, highly recommend trying the single serving!
