“Had the pleasure of stopping into Iorio Deli with friends Eric from Cultinary Road Trip and Tyler from Foodula. Had the chance to meet “The Boss” Gilda and her son Joe as well as the rest of the very friendly and helpful staff here. We tried a plethora of things so this may take a minute haha.Started off with two stuffed breads - A Reuben as well as a Pepperoni roll. The Reuben had a great flavor and the bread itself was tasty. It was slightly odd in my mind to eat a Reuben without grilled rye, but I enjoyed this. The pepperoni stuffed bread was also good and was even better with the addition of some sauce (they called it gravy and I thought I was in trouble haha).After that we were hit with some delicious Italian items including their house made meatballs, Italian sausage and peppers, and chicken Parmesan. The meatballs were just rated #1 in Central Jersey and #2 in the entire state of NJ at the Pizza Bowl a few months back. I could see why. Very tender, perfectly seasoned, and again that sauce/gravy was killer. To be honest though, I may have enjoyed the sausage even more! I mentioned how I didn’t get hit with that typical overwhelming pop from fennel seed and Joe said they make it with ground fennel so the flavor is still there but it’s not so in your face. I loved, and I mean loved, this sausage. The chicken parm was also very good but I had a small piece because I knew what was coming next!We finished off by trying two sandwiches that Iorio is well known for. The first was “The Jocelyn” which was a roast beef and Swiss melt on an onion roll, and the second was “The Sloppiest Joe” which was a North NJ staple “sloppy joe” but in epic proportions. The Jocelyn had good flavor and the onion roll was a nice touch and change of pace. The sloppiest Joe is sitting inside the top 3 I’ve had probably ever. The meats were freshly sliced and piled high, the rye was super fresh, and the Cole slaw had get flavor and added welcomed creaminess to the sandwich.As if there was any doubt at all - Iorio Deli in Roselle Park, NJ - Didn’t Suck!“

“I recently had an event here last week and we are really happy with the results!! Pros The staff, from the manager, assistants, and bartender were all friendly and helpful throughout the whole process of our event when needed. They definitely went above and beyond for us! The food was really good too and come with a quite a beautiful dessert wall. Further they have some things some venues don't have, like a red carpet, wall lights, and a TV. Cons We did have issues with the speakers connecting with our music (Apple Music) but it may have worked better if you used Spotify. It didn't take away from the event at all! Odds and Ends The venue is a bit small which can be good or a bad thing depending on the number of people you may have. Overall, if you are looking for a small event and are in the area, I definitely recommend it!“

“While visiting Iselin on a very nice day, we came across the place with patio seating. We loved the afternoon breeze and decided sto spend some time in the patio with typical Bombay food likechat. We were not disappointed, they were very spicy and authentic. We had pistachio and mango flavored ice cream, that was second to none. Price is quite reasonable and service was no complaints. They are veg. I recommend a trip here.“
“I am a very happy repeat client of Domenick Rizzo Catering! In early June, I hired Dom to host an upscale cocktail party to celebrate my son's law school graduation. Dom and his team are amazing! He is so easy to collaborate with, worked within my budget, and came up with such fun and innovative ideas. Ex: doing cool drink pairings to accompany each of the passed hors d'oeuvres. So we had Shrimp ceviche with fresh mango and avocado paired with a white sangria shot, Black bean and roasted corn empanada's with a chipotle creme paired with a margarita shot, lobster rolls paired with a shot of sam adams beer, Hoison pork belly Boa Buns paired with a shot of Japanese beer, and so much more, including grill stations and beautifully displayed grazing tables. All of the food was absolutely delicious - everyone was commenting on it! His servers and bartender were outstanding and so helpful and the signature cocktails were a huge hit!And he seamlessly catered to multiple dietary restrictions with amazing options!Dom also recommended entertainment and made everything so easy with the rentals.I cannot recommend him more highly - it was such an epic party! “Most people are probably familiar with the superb catering of Jane and Maggie, but please don't forget they offer meals for lunch and dinner. Of course, they are wonderful, but one of the side benefits is that Maggie Cooks helps you prepare better meals at home. When I had the trio of stuffed vegetables for dinner, I realized that sometimes more seasoning is better than less. After I tasted my wife's roasted salmon sandwich with basil mayonnaise and caramelized onions, I realized there is more than salmon salad. One unadvertised special is that every meal comes with a tiny and absolutely delicious dessert. Hire them for the holidays, but don't forget Maggie and Jane when you're thinking about what to have for lunch or dinner, too. Since our first dinner two years ago, they have become a part of our weekly dining experience and we have never been disappointed.“

It was a 3 tier Alice in Wonderland themed cake and it was absolutely beautiful and just as delicious as I remembered! I moved from the Woodbridge area about 15 years ago and this bakery is one of the things I miss the most! To top it off my piece if cake had the canolli filling and Dorsey's canolli 's are the ABSOLUTE BEST.... highly recommend this bakery!!! Always my favorite“
