Food is really good! Just a little slow on the day that we went bec there was staff shortage. I wish they have bangus sisig tho! Their sisig is only pork and I don’t eat pork.

In my decades of staying in America, nothing hits food as close to home as what La Parrilla de Manila serves. Their fresh lumpia hits the spot with generous sides of garlic, sauce and peanuts. The Tokwa't baboy reminds me of my days as a kid eating merienda at Via mare. The lengua is very clean, flavorful and tender that it will soften a hangry heart and stomach. The best of all is their sisig. Which is not the Americanized sisiz that most Filipino restaurants server but rather the real ingredients in the exact slices (like how bopis is sliced). Me and my family will definitely come back for more.Staff are great and very professional. I am happy I was able to experience and dine at La Parilla.

This place became a quick favorite. My wife and I love their pancit bihon and lumpia Shanghai. Would definitely recommend for a nice family night out or if you're looking for some delicious Filipino food.

All I can say is I totally agree with those people who had an unpleasant experience here. Food is just average but service is the worst. Rude and very unwelcoming. No longer the old great Filipino dining restaurant I used to know when they were still in the New Brunswick area or even just a couple of years ago when I visited this place after learning that they have moved to this new location. It has changed for the worst So sad! I thought it was worth trying this place again and give them another chance but truly disappointed! Never ever coming back and good luck to this place if they don’t do something about the very recent bad reviews.

Love coming here with my family. Delicious Filipino food. Some dishes you can choose from single or a family portion. The halo halo is big and can share with a couple people. Will be coming back.

Very disappointed with the so called "Pork Belly Sisig"! We all thought it was just sautéed ground pork. The visual nor the texture & especially the taste was something else. Drfinitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's not worth the price of $19.99. The Grilled Pork Belly was hard & over cooked.

Visiting New Jersey for the first time and saw LA parrila de Manila restaurants decide to pay a visit. Saw it close 8pm ok I stop by at 7:05pm to dine in. Not to mention I wasn't even greeted hello or welcome. How can I help you nothing. Just straight forward said we close the kitchen at 7pm im sorry. I can't believe what I just experienced here.

We came and ordered. Then some of our food came. Then we still hadn’t gotten our rice. Then we still hadn’t gotten our final dish. At this point it had been 20 minutes after we got our food so we were already nearly done and had asked again about our noodle dish. The waitress went to check on and then came back to ask us again what it was and then again come back. At this point, we also were empty on water and had asked about our food and the meal was over. They said there was an issue with the kitchen and would be able to make it if we wait 7 minutes. We have been done with our meal at this point. And so we asked if it was going to be free considering its been 30 minutes since our food came out. They say no. But no one came over to let us know there was an issue or that there was a delay or the kitchen was having an issue. Literally this could have been avoided with communication and it leaves such a terrible taste in the guest’s mouth. We never got our third dish. We waited the entire time wondering where our meal was and the service was terrible. I’m very upset and will not be coming back. Why would guests come to a place where you don’t notify us there’s a delay and that we’re not going to get our food unless its 30 min after the meal came? I am actually annoyed that we even have to pay for what we ate after the terrible service.

Food was good but default 20% gratuity for 2 people? Wow..not sure whether every customer is treated the same way but really shocked me...we asked them to remove it and tipped 16% instead, their service are nice although

Came here on the recommendation of a family friend. We don’t have as great of a selection of filipino restaurants anymore in JC (the few left can be overpriced with measly portions). Was initially shocked at the menu prices which were a little high and noted as “single servings” but don’t let that fool you - those single servings are enough for sharing. 2 single serving dishes can nearly feed 3 when you add rice. We had the grilled squid, lechon kawali, pinakbet, and sisig. Everything was single serving or lunch portion except the squid which is one size. And everything was delicious!Loved the pinakbet isn’t too oily or fatty, the veggies are cooked just right and not mushy, and the amapalya isn’t super bitter. The lechon kawali too was delicious and the skin crispy. My only knock is I wish it were a touch browner but I understand they were aiming to not overcook and dry it out. Squid was delicious and perfectly grilled (but gimme more teriyaki glaze personally). And the sisig was good but not stand out. I prefer it with a bit more texture and it just comes out a little too mushy. It tastes good but it needs a coarser chop so it doesn’t end up like paste at the end.Overall 10/10 and only wish it were closer to JC but 30-35min isn’t too bad. Will be back again!

Before coming here my husband called the restaurant to see if they have a bar, whoever he spoke to told them no, so he asked if we could BYOB. He was told no, when asked why the employee said it’s not allowed…odd. Anyway, we decided to go because we were meeting a few family members there. Last night was our first time going to this restaurant. The food was good, but the service was horrible! Wasn’t greeted when we came in, nor was the staff friendly throughout our dinner. In fact one was extremely rude, the thin lady with the long hair and tattooed arms. We arrived around 6:30pm and around 7pm the rude server came to our table to tell us the kitchen is closing at 7:15pm and to put in all our orders in including dessert because the restaurant closes at 8pm…really on a Saturday night?!?! Only our drinks and appetizers arrived when this announcement came! While eating the same rude server was clearing out dishes, she was reaching right in front of our faces. When my sister in law was inquiring about our to go order the rude server purposely ignored her. My husband said excuse me she’s asking about her order and her reply was, “yeah, I know” and told my sister law that the order was coming. Also, they couldn’t wait to start cleaning while we’re still eating. My husband got nauseous because you can smell the chemicals from the cleaning products. Mind you there were two other tables with customers still in the restaurant eating as well. When the server took all the dishes away she started spraying cleaner and wiped the tabled while we were in mid conversation. That’s when our party got quiet and we all just looked at each other and got up and left. Sadly the food was good, but we will never go back again. It’s obvious the staff do not know how to treat customers.

Decorated nicely with delicious Pinoy Cuisine. I loved the Sesig, Pansit and bitter mellon veggies. Strange for an American but really enjoyed. Staff is overwhelmingly great and certainly attentive.Turon (banana) rolls and ice cream dessert was nice.Vegetarian options: Ask for meatless veggies because they could be cooked with pork for flavor.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible but the door is a strong one so have help.Dietary restrictions: You'll go waaaaay off your diet here, regret it but really enjoy.
