Drove 30min to try this place out. Totally worth the trip. Little hidden jewel in colonia. Big pieces of very fresh fish. Mackerel was really goooood. Will definitely return.

Got to start by saying that I am highly suspicious of the high ratings of this place, as this is really a subpar quality sushi place. Its a fairly small Chinese run sushi joint in a strip mall, with boba on the menu? Service was a little strange... the waitress serving us seemed a little bit clueless. The Sushi quality was very mediocre. The fish didn't taste the freshest to me. The pieces werent consistently cut.. some pieces were extremely thick. Even the special roll wasn't that flavorful. On the positive side, the portion size is quite large.

Best Japanese place in the area IMO.. so lucky to live within less than a mile! Tried the pork fried dumplings today and they were freshly hand made and delicious, the dipping sauce was like a sweet soy, yum. Their ginger dressing is so good we always get extra for our avocado salad. Favorite roll is the Golden Dragon! Don't skip this place. Also very nice owners and staff, every time!

Family owned, and just very nice people.I was lucky enough to come when they weren't busy at 9pm, my brother told me they get packed during regular hours. Honestly, the sushi ala cart is where it's at, best scallop I've had and my second favorite. The Toro hand roll was my favorite/amazing, specialty rolls reasonably priced too. I enjoyed everything I ordered. All great fresh cuts of fish, the eel was cut thick and cooked perfectly. Everything was delicious! I'll be back the next time I'm in town visiting, wish them a lot of success.
