Easter lunch was outstanding, 7 of us enjoyed a wonderful time. Always worried about being too crowded or not enough personnel to work. Neither was an issue. Paul the Chef was on his game on Easter. Compliments.

Can't say enough about chef Paul and his restaurant. Great dinner from drinks to appetizers dinner and dessert. Too bad I couldn't post pictures. Went last night to celebrate being cancer free. He makes the best rack of lamb. I Always leave room for dessert

Usually a good place. Easter was not the typical greatness it usually is.

We were lucky enough to see this restaurant on our way into HiltonHead Island and had to make a reservation. We were a party of 5…3 being teenagers, and it was the perfect atmosphere for all of us. I can quite literally say that every morsel of food that was brought to us was just spectacular. My wife is from Italy, and gives Mulberry the seal of approval when it comes to the authenticity of the food. The menu is diverse and has a range of elegant Italian classics and some new spins on this cuisine as well. My wife said this Mussels in garlic sauce was a standout, all the kids loved the caprese salad, I had the butternut squash ravioli which was perfection. For the vegetarians, there are many options on the menu, rest assured and I struggled to make a choice ?Other notes, we were too full to actually eat dessert but got them to go…chocolate cake, triple chocolate mousse and cannolis were all divine and devoured later that night. All in all, a great place for family or romantic dining. The bar is small but cosy…the drink menu is very good. I recommend the Gangster Martini ? …I like a little sweet and the pineapple in this one was killer.Ciao!~Law and Lisa

It was a long wait for food which they told it was going to be. Originally one of our guests had ordered two dishes and both times was told that they did not have it. The waitress apologized and had to bring the menu back two times saying that it was the wrong special menu. That was fine however after an hour and a half the sever brought out the wrong salad. We had mentioned it was the wrong salad and the waitress confirmed 3 times the name of the salad that was ordered. It was the Burrata salad that was ordered and the waitress brought out a caprese salad. The waitress said that it was the burrata despite containing different ingredients. The food is okay but the service is not good. It may have been due to them being understaffed, which is completely understandable, but it may have been a training issue. The manager was very nice and offered to bring out dessert and the correct salad, but due to the wait we decided not to take it. We appreciate the managers resolutions, but this place is still figuring out the service they will provide.

Restaurant was 1/4 occupied - immediately ordered two bottles of wine - waited FORTY MINUTES to get first bottle! Waiter blamed bartender who was too busy talking with two patrons to give us our bottles of wine! Unacceptable! Food was ok - chef told us that there was no difference between vodka sauce and arrabiata- Chef Paul knows better.., Very disappointed.....

It was under unfortunate circumstances that my family and I met Paul. My father passed and we were scrambling to find a place for the repast for at least 70 people. We only had a few days to plan and figure things out. Under such a stressful and emotional time, Paul patiently sat with me and my sister to review all the options and the menu's and put our minds at ease. With Paul's experience with dealing with repast's (always thought the spelling was "repass", Paul taught us that as well)and knowledge of food in general, it was a clear decision to go with Mulberry Street. The day of my father's funeral was extremely emotional, exhausting as well as a million other feelings and emotions throughout the day.It was a pleasure and a relief to walk into a room that was beautifully set up, relax with a glass of wine and enjoy good...no wait ...GREAT, AMAZING food!! I sat back and watched family and friends go back for seconds with their plate and pour another glass of wine, beer or drink from the bar and share thoughts and stories of my dad and celebrate his life. It truly was the perfect place! Thank you Paul and staff of Mulberry Street

Waited for over an hour even though we called in advance. We arrived to the place before our reserved time and they told us to wait for half an hour. I checked in twice and noticed some people that arrived after me were seated before me. Once seated it was almost time to close. No waiter or waitress came to us and we were sitting for over 20 minutes. We weren’t given any bread or even silverware.

We had a 7:15 reservation and didn't get seated until 7:45. My wife ordered the snapper and sent it back. It was beige and mushy. I had the lasagna which was delicious. She ended up getting the chicken parmigiana which was really good. Drinks were reasonable. Don't think I would go back. Better Italian restaurants in the area.

This place is a gem. We were in the area looking for an Italian restaurant for a late lunch. Googled that and it came up with this restaurant. The minute we walked in I knew it was going to be good. The dining room looked so pretty all set up. It immediately reminded me of little Italy, and Brooklyn rolled into one. After eating a bit, we asked the waitress if the chef could come out and we spent the rest of the meal chatting with owner/chef Paul LaGrutta. Everything about this place was wonderful. Chef says it’s going to get a facelift at the end of next summer. I’m sure it will be beautiful but it’s worth a trip now because it’s cozy and warm and the food is fabulous.

We used to go here regularly, but have cut back to about twice a year. Last night's dinner took exactly 3 hours(with a reservation). I don't mind a leisurely dinner, but it took at least 35 minutes for soup to come out. The waiter was nice and apologetic (delays not his fault). The kitchen needs to get its act together. Food is good.

Excellent service but food wasn't great. The broccoli chicken and shrimp pasta tasted like Chinese food. We order two plates and barely ate from it.Appetizers were good.I don't consider my self an expert in Italian food but I've to authentic Italian restaurants before and food taste better.
