“Amazing find. Felt like a hidden gem. The place takes you back to India. Awesome decorations, amazing space and great staff. Had such a great time dining here on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered chole bhature and paneer kulcha with tea. Food was delicious. Will definitely come back to this place to check out other options. Parking place is available just outside and it wasn't crowded when we visited.“

Will recommend them for ordering food for private parties to fund raisers to weddings, and they will not disappoint you in any category. From Sultan bhai to now Owais and team, have all maintained the quality of food and service. “Probably the best Goat and lamb curry dishes in the area. Love the sizzling BBQ grilled dishes also. All dishes have lots of flavor with their own specialty spices. For the most part it's not crowded, only on weekends during evening hours. Seemed like I got slightly more food when I did takeout vs dining in. Food is piping hot even after bringing it home. I still prefer to dine in. Fast service and prices are good.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are OK. This restaurant specializes in the majority of non-vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: Brought both my kids, they enjoyed it. I've seen many kids there, friendly environment.“
“I spoke to the owner about an issue l, I had found with one of the dishes. The owner apologized and expressed his concern. He emphasized the fact they do their best to offer best food to their customers.Although I didn't demand any compensation l, they didn't charge me for a dish equal to the price of the dish, I had complaint about.I am glad that owner took my complaint seriously and tried to compensate me then and there.There is a reason why shalimar is one of the best Pakistani restaurants in New Jersey. “To be honest, I’ve ordered here time and time again. It’s CONSTANTLY delicious like omg (I’ve had the butter chicken, naan, rasmalai, samosa)? (boutta order the palak paneer and chicken kabaab) for the price of everything the quality is just perfection tbh (especially the chicken)“
“The food is excellent and specifically the Tokri Chat , it's so crispy and to add to our amazement, we came to know that the papdis and the tokris are all made by Sejal , the lady who will make your chaat whenever you visit Dhaba . She is a pleasant woman with equally pleasant smile . Her daughter Kajal met us at the register helped us with check ins and at checkout , for her age she had an assertive politeness and demeanor. Our server Ravi was the best part , as he apparently was covering up for his colleagues absence and seemed overwhelmed, yet he was attentive and jet speed. Any restaurant stands for its food but as a guest I believe the people who host you matter a lot more and today our experience was very entertaining ! I truly recommend the place and the people .“
“I have eaten in multiple restaurants in new jersey and this is the best so far. Service was great, ambience was outclass. Mr. Khalid was very hospitable. We had hot and sour soup, chicken fried rice, orange chicken from dragon place which were all the best in NJ. we also had delicious chicken cheese kabab and roghni Naan. “I was in the mood for some biryani and kabab so badly . My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite. As soon as we walked in they were deep cleaning the kitchen area and I took a look and it was all very very clean . The food was served hot and delicious . The workers also very respectful .The place is small and simple but don’t be fooled their food is very yummy . The biryani was really good .“
“We planned to visit Haveli Punjab Di for buffet on Sunday however, the variety of food was so less. Especially for vegetarians there was barely anything and ended up having A la Carte. Majority of dishes in veg and non veg were really good.I would recommend it for A la Carte.Vegetarian options: Try Bharta it was great!“
