i love picking new places for date night, so once i saw the decor i knew i had to go. it was amazing :) we got the tofu appetizer, crispy chicken, spicy fried rice, and phad thai. great service too, everyone should check this place out :) <3 :)Vegetarian options: they had a vegetarian menu

I was introduced to Thai House Rock in high school (around 2007 or so) by a friend who lived near by. Since then, I've made many trips out to try some of my old favorites and sample new menu additions. I have brought lots of other people here too, and I've always called it a "mythical place." Why? It's an unassuming little spot next to a laundromat and it's sometimes hard to see from the road if you don't pass it all the time. They're open the strangest hours and not often at all, so I will actively call ahead and try to get there within the time they say and hope there's a table. I've actually also put my name on a list and waited an hour for a table before, which I don't even do at fancy places, because it's that good. I've been in the restaurant with just me and my party and enjoyed the restaurant all to myself to chat with the owners, who are delightful. I've also been there when it was so crowded they actively turned down calls for takeout orders (!!!) which I have literally never seen happen anywhere. Like I said. It's just magical! You go with it, it's all part of it. The decor is old record albums from the 50s and Elvis themed stuff you'd see at your grandparent's basement. I love it. I adore it. I will keep coming here forever and ordering the pad thai from my high school days or the next level tofu dishes of my older tastes. It's all made to order and feels special. If you're nearby, try to come by! Don't get frustrated by the weird hours, embrace them. Wait in the parking lot looking at the laundromat for the restaurant to open, like i did on my last trip. Order as much as you can! It's a mythical place and I'm letting you in on the secret!!

Thai House Rock is cutely decorated with pictures and records of good Ole' rock and roll icons. Rock and roll plays through the speakers in keeping with the theme. My order was pleasantly taken over the phone and ready upon arrival. I was excited about the Pad See Ew. The presentation was beautiful. The portion was sizable. However, I can't put my finger on it but there was something missing from the taste. I am willing to try Thai House Rock again because it came highly recommended.
