“New to town, and have tried a few places around here. Lots of good stuff. But I have to say that Pizza City is consistently great pizza. Great flavor all around. So we usually order delivery once a week from here. It’s a sure bet.”

“I loveee this place! It’s now my new fav spot to eat at work. I get the BYO salmon bowl, with shrimp, peppers, cheese, broccoli and sweet teriyaki sauce! Soooo good?”
“This place has some yummy milkshakes. We walked in about 5 minutes to close and the girls were still more than happy to help us. They make some pretty tasty milkshakes. I was told I must try a yogurt bowl. Next time ?”

“This is my FAVORITE Starbucks to visit. Everyone is always extremely friendly, the dining area is clean, there's plenty of room to move around freely, and every drink I've ever had from here has been made perfectly every single time. My ONLY complaint is the drive thru wait time. I only order ahead and pick up inside because sometimes the wait exceeds 25 min in the drive thru.Parking: Plenty of handicap parking right outside the doorWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to move around”

“THE Best wings around. I’ve tried them all in the area. I like that you can get different flavors, I love how fast the order is ready, And I love the consistency here, they always make good wings and they’re cooked just right! Yes they charge more than a local dive, but you get what you pay for!Parking: Great location you can always find a spot and it’s right next to the liquor store for game night lol”

“I usually don’t go out of my way to leave reviews, but I absolutely love this place! Everything is always delicious. A friend of mine had food sent to my house from here two years ago and I have been a repeat customer ever since. I usually get the Dany and it’s amazing. I’ve recently cut back on how much meat I’m eating and they will even make it for me with eggplant in place of the chicken. Awesome place!”

“Ah yes! Such a pleasant and clean and relaxing atmosphere contrary to the ghetto McDonald's occupies a lot of Philadelphia with the ghetto employees cursing and talking loud and ignoring you when you trying to order food them dirty tables acting like you are bothering them for being there. This McDonald's was pleasant The management and the staff were accommodating and they also had a special needs person cleaning and maintaining the dining room who is very nice and I was happy that they employed her.”

“I've been here a few times, it's a fun place to bring people because of the whole speakeasy vibe. They don't take reservations so it's hit or miss if you can actually get in. Drinks are hit or miss for me too. Over time I've done drinks from the menu and the bartenders choice. I know it sounds silly but I really dislike the ice they use! It's like ice chips which cheapens the drinks, which seems to go against the suave swanky vibe. I got the pickle mule this time though and really liked it.”

“The Love. Umm, yes please. The vibe. The food. The staff. All great.I went for a solo dinner while in town for a conference. I initially wanted to get the fried chicken with grits and collards but my Server mentioned the special for the night, the ribeye with macaroni & cheese and said he’d go with the ribeye. So I did! It was a double the price but I was out of town and why not treat myself to a steak! It did not disappoint, so so good. Unfortunately I had a bit of a headache so I didn’t have a cocktail but the iced tea was good. ? I live in Atlanta, so hopefully I’ll be back soon enough to try out a drink. I had a lovely meal and it was pretty busy Sunday night. I guess it’s a popular spot.”

“Having grown up with Texas breakfast tacos I was excited to see a spot in Philly to create what I was missing from home. Bfast taco was good, flavor was def there. A bit on the pricier end for a breakfast taco, even with a homemade tortilla. Was hoping all salsas were given out as well, tried the guaijlo , had good flavor. Not sure if I’ll be a reg just because they’re pricey. But I do appreciate what they are bringing to Philly.”

“Pretty good experience! There was a little bit of a mix up with what we ordered but they instantly took care of it and got us the rest of our food. Some of the food was hit or miss. The broll, Bloc party, Hijiki, and e I shumai was great but I didn't really like the chashu because it was a bit gummy and the wings were not my favorite. But other than that, it was all great. I will definitely come back soon to try more things :)”

“Took a friend out for lunch for her birthday. We shared the shrimp and crab roll and I got the Pad Khing with tofu, and opted for the soup. My friend got the green curry with tofu. Everything was delicious! Next time I’ll ask for more spice. Great lunch price point as well.Vegetarian options: You can get tofu with any dish as the protein.”

“Very small intimate space with the open kitchen directly on the floor. Had an incredible experience here! The staff was super friendly and bantered with us all night. The stand out to me was the scallop toast, it practically melts in your mouth. Though everything we had was excellent flavor and presentation wise. I will absolutely be back!”

“The best sashimi and I have ever had. Stopped in here 3 years ago by chance -- looking for food before a concert at Gloria Dei Old Swedes Episcopal Church. I was able to get a few things, not a set menu. They did not put soy sauce or anything on the bar or tables -- they said they were preparing it just as it should be prepared. And it was so! Looking forward to coming back.”

“Lunch here was one of the best I’ve had in recent memory, and I can’t wait to return. We were delightfully surprised when given slices of truly magnificent fluffy, crusty bread and butter. Shrimp po’boy with homemade chips and poke bowl were undeniably fresh and flavorful, each a guaranteed reorder. Love how the shrimp were butterflied to keep the sandwich together. Do not skip dessert here because that means forgoing the carrot cake pie, and you need a slice of that goodness.”

“They didn’t have shwarma but still a nice place to stop off and get a bite to eat. My friends and I were craving some Israeli food for Pesach (Passover). Any chance they could get some Aroma coffee in?”

“Walking in here and you're immediately greeted with a wonderful dark and cozy ambiance reminiscent of the early half of the 20th century. Decor and music all match the theme, and the mural of dogs overlook all diners. The wine and spirit menu is very extensive, and the cocktails are premium. The sidecar was actually 10/10 blended and tasted exactly as it should. The biscuits served to start come with delicious honey butter and are quite tasty, warm, and flaky. Steak was cooked beautifully and was a high end chop. The blue cheese melted on top added great savory flavor to complement the steak. The sides were great as well. Nicely cooked sprouts and very buttery, creamy mashed potatoes. Do recommend the baked Alaska though it is very sugary! Quite an uncommon dessert and they do it well. Nice end to the meal. Overall a very tasty and memorable dinner. Thanks”

“Celebrated our 5th anniversary here tonight while visiting Philly. Beautiful ambiance and impeccable service. Rebecca our server was kind, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make our experience great. We did the Chef’s which was seasonal, thoughtful and delicious. Each serving was creative and intriguing. Compliments to Chef Kevin McWilliams. If you live in or near the Philly area please give this place a try!”

“I enjoyed dining at Her Place, I definitely felt like I was having a meal in someone's home. The restaurant is tiny and every table has a view of the kitchen. I dined by myself so I was placed at one of the two window seats. My back was toward the kitchen and I had to turn around each time the chef was describing the dishes. The menu wasn't something I would have normally chosen for myself, it was very seafood focused but it was all around tasty. The main dish was a quail and morels. My favorites of the night were the chicken liver pate with radishes and homemade Ritz cracker. They really did taste like a Ritz but much elevated. My other favorite of the night was the dessert: the rhubarb, cream cheese semi freddo, and meringue was to absolutely die for. You could really taste the cream cheese. Also notable was the sauce Americaine in the quenelle/lobster dish, I wanted to scoop it up and lick the plate. I see people complaining how it wasn't enough food since you had to share, I didn't have this problem, as I was solo and was able to eat full plates of everything. I enjoyed the final touches at the end, giving out cookies and a bag of Chex Mix. Bravo. I'd maybe come back if I were to travel to Philadelphia again. $120 after tax and tip.”

“It's an authentic mom & pop Mexican trattoria , which is a must visit. Esp for their Buffalo pizza, of all things. It's the best pizza I've eaten, maybe due to the fact that it was made in a wood fired ovenOur nachos were a bit too drenched in cheese , but it's a personal choice.Soup was good and warmRed snapper was crispy and baked to perfection in the wood fired ovenEnchiladas were made with corn tortillas, but delicious.I'd love to come back. The host/owner is a delight to meet. His love and care in food prep, service and customer dealing is warm and jovial.”
“We plan trips to Philadelphia just to visit this amazing bar. We can’t oversell this…absolutely the best cocktails we have ever had. There are strict house rules for a reason and we appreciate that. Always a wonderful evening at Hop Sings. Leave your phones at home and enjoy the atmosphere and fine crafted drinks.”

“Very good homemade ice cream but a bit expensive. They have flavored soft serve ice cream. I had peach and it was very good. As I said they make their own ice cream. You can get cones, sundaes, shakes, and of course a Banana Split..Yum it is worth the extra money ????”
