What a find! Really nice and efficient service, very friendly atmosphere and the service was excellent. Lovely "home cooked" food at very reasonable prices. If you are near Brigus then stop in - if only for a coffee but beware... you will be tempted for more .....!

Me and my family stopped in this lovely cafe for lunch, which also sells crafts and artwork from local artisans. The food we ordered was delicious (BLT sandwiches, pea soup, salad, mac and cheese, dessert), while the staff was friendly. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Parking was tight but we squeezed in. I ordered the soup of the day and a fish cake. Both were fresh and delicious. Both had a homemade taste and texture to them. I really liked the fish cake but one is never enough. It was mostly fish rather than the other stuff. I recommend both the soup and especially the fish cakes ($4.49 each in 2023). There is free WiFi so you can browse through your phone rather than talking to your guests if so desired. It's quite large inside so even if the parking lot is full there probably a table waiting for you.Washrooms were large and clean. The service was genuine and pleasant. We ordered dessert which we rarely do but the descriptions were enticing. I felt compelled to taste at least one of them. I really can't think of any negatives. Even the prices were quite reasonable. Well they were a bit high for the dessert but that's to discourage excessive eating. . If you are reading this you've probably already decided to eat here so enjoy.

Great Cafe in the heart of Brigus.Great service, fast and responsive. And when I say fast, I mean it, our sandwiches were out in 5 min or less, followed closely by the soup, we were shocked at the combination of speed & quality. In part due to our server who always had a smile on her face.We had the BLT and turkey soup. Both are really good, the soup had a lot of turkey flavour, and veggies. We had the Blueberry, ginger pudding for dessert and it was delicious, it was heated with a sauce over it, wished that we didn't share one. It's one big room, our table and surrounding area was clean. The walls were hung with local artists paintings for sale. Not an extensive menu, but no doubt, it's all as tasty as the turkey soup. My only comment is they don't use homemade bread, "home style" but not homemade. We would go back for sure.

My friend recommended visiting this place, so we stopped for a cup of tea and dessert. People were very kind, but the atmosphere, interior design, and selection in the menu were very poor. Tea was served in tea pot with teabag inside. It's not acceptable for my taste.

Coffees were very good and we had Clubhouse Sandwich and Blueberry Ginger Hot Caramel House Specialty Cake . Both were good but not exceptional. We will return!

The service was good. Very friendly staff. The fishcakes were amazing. I enjoyed the pan fried cod. Bright and airy, glad they were opened today.
