I'm not a huge fan of fish and chips in general, but I've taken it upon my self to try as many fish and chips places around St. John's as possible to see if I can find one that I like. This is by FAR the best I've had. The fries are good, but the fish is tops. The batter is so crispy and almost has the texture of a cheese puff. The fish is incredibly tender and soft. And the location is incredible too. They only take cash, but have an ATM.

CASH ONLY...ATM on site and no receipt given at time of sale. Your order is given to you BINGO style they call your number into a crowded room and you get your meal brought to you. Disappointed at the ATM/Cash only situation as I was not aware of that before arriving also paying before you get a sit down meal is very off putting to me. Won't be back...

Lovely place with lovely atmosphere. You can enjoy some fish n chips with a great ocean view. Only downside is they only take cash and no cards are available. If you plan to go there, ensure you have cash in hand.

If you’re looking for some really good fish and chips, this is the place! The batter is light and crispy, fish is tender and generous portions, great variety and value. The staff are very friendly, quick and helpful and attentive. The views are pretty good too!Parking: Several spots out front and more a short distance by the water.Wheelchair accessibility: The ramp is well kept and parking is well maintained.

The fish and chips with dressing and gravy was delicious. I got a small order (one piece of fresh, battered cod), and I couldn’t eat it all, though I wanted to!! Generous portions, and the batter was so crisp and flaky. Epic comfort food. PS-While there I met a man named Terry, who wrote a song for the restaurant years ago that’s framed on the wall. (I’ve always believed that if locals enjoy a place, it’s worth eating at, and it’s certainly true here) Cute little place, right by the beach. :)
