I love this store! I was staying close by and bought most of my meals and many snacks...shepherds pie, chicken pot pie, turkey flip, pork chop meal and stuffed chicken meal were all excellent! Oh, and the GRAVY.... Real food at affordable prices, thank you !

The sandwiches are good but the prepared meals like fish brewis and shepherds pie are terrible

A quaint and surprisingly interesting establishment. Has the usual mom and pop grocery items in limited supplies. They also offer take out foods like soups, sandwiches, meat loaf and fish/brewing etc. Reasonably priced and quite tasty. There is an option to eat in. Check it out.

We were looking for food we could just warm up at the place we were renting and this store, apparently the oldest in St. John's, was the perfect place to come. We ordered shepherd's pie, chili, and meatloaf and enjoyed various portions over the course of 2 to 3 meals. We like things a little spicier, but it was good home cooked food - something we were missing for a couple of weeks of travelling. Very reasonable too!

Not much turcky tbh but over all real good espily their salt meat n pees pooding amazing ?
I didn't have enough for the product when I thought I did. Misses was going to pay the difference until she realized how much it was after. Unsatisfied trip cause I didn't get what I needed and their prices are expensive. Their papers are double then at needs.

Magic! The cashier was fun and she enjoyed a joke. Good selection of treats for our picnic.

Nice little grocer near our B&B in St John's. Had some of the essentials and then some. Convenient to downtown, as well.
