One of the best places to hang out if you want to enjoy some local atmosphere and get a custom drink. My favourite here is their Chai latte, taking a sip while watching traffic out is truly heaven.

Had lunch here today. I have dined here for years but this is the first time I have been dissatisfied. The store was filthy; it appears to not have been swept up in ages (heaters, floors etc). As for the food.. our grilled cheeses were cold and only grilled on one side. Very disappointed and will not be back any time soon.

Food was adequate, coffee too. Noisy but friendly staff and customers. Great view and personal memories of previous business

The drinks are really good. The baristas know what they're doing. The breakfast food is small and the quality is not good.

This was close to our lodgings. We had lunch there. A great sandwich and a good cup of coffee.

Lovely cafe! Great interior seating and windows on a corner. Nice baked goods and prepared foods (the breakfast sandwich is tasty), friendly staff.

We were on vacation in NL and stayed 2 nights at the B&B next door to this place. We stopped for lunch on day 1 simply because it was convenient & we didn't have a lot of time. It was so good we made a special trip to go back for lunch on the second day. Both days my wife had the same sandwich and I tried 2 different ones and they were all delicious. We had not one single complaint. The staff are all friendly especially the cashier, she was a treasure. Now, if they only carried Dr Pepper Zero.

Being Australian we know our coffee and like it strong. This place could be in Sydney or Melbourne and is hands down the best coffee we've had since leaving home. If you want cheap brown dishwater go to to mainstream places, if you want the real deal, come here.

Stopped for a quick to-go after a tour of the Commissariat House down the block. My partner was in serious need of caffeine and this shop materialized before he could reek havoc. Well done. Just a few blocks walk to the harbour front.

Super friendly service! Lots of seating options, but a lot of the tables are usually full. The food comes out quick.I ordered a small Pasta Salad for a quick snack and a banana hot chocolate, which I'd never even heard of before. The pasta salad was delicious and just what I needed - the balsamic glaze and pear paired beautifully with the tomatoes and penne. The banana hot chocolate, though, was so much more memorable for me - I downed that so fast! It's such an odd flavor, but it really works. (Even though it's not that odd when you think about it. It's like a hot version of chocolate-covered frozen bananas.) Definitely worth a try!
