For a couple of years this was our go-to place for Chinese food However our choices on Feb.27,24 were very disappointing.All 3 dishes were without any flavour!

Me and my partner went to dine in at 7:30 pm, which we thought was appropriate since the restaurant closed at 9 pm. We waited at our table for 15 minutes to get service; however, the worker never came. The server who was across the room asked us if we could hurry up and order because the chef had to leave. When we told him that we could go somewhere else, the chef in the back smiled and said thank you. I would never eat there again; the service was non-existent, and they were borderline rude. The people in the back were staring at us the whole time.

WARNING: this place gave me and my fiancé severe food borne illness on Saturday December 9th. We went in to inform them of the situation in the hopes of saving others from our same fate (or worse) and unfortunately we were met with a defensive and angry response from the woman out front. She refused to hear our concerns and continued to raise her voice at us. A shame to be treated this way after the weekend we just endured. I would not recommend this place as they made it clear they are not concerned with the health and safety of their customers.

The service is fast and friendly and you can order ahead for whatever time works for you. The food is very tasty and the portions are perfect for the price. Love the beef and broccoli! Definitely worth a visit!

Back in my home town of St. John’s after 18 years and China House is closed, so I tried Kung Fu for some takeout. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. Tons of food on the Kung Fu Dinner for One…more than enough for two meals. Taste was top-notch and service was super. Was told 6:15 pm pick-up & it was dead-on. I definitely recommend.
