Burger was delicious. We had "The Champ". The green chiles gave it just a bit of spice. The burger was cooked perfectly with the edges just a little crispy. The roll was grilled and the perfect vehicle for the burger. My husband and I split the burger and fries and it was plenty. A must pit stop when in Alamogordo.

Great! Burgers are my go to favorite food and local hole in the wall joints are the best. This place did not disappoint. Each of us filled out the slip with our order a bit different from one another (6 of us). The friendly staff, confirmed and highlighted our choices and answered questions. We visited at an off peak time so our wait was minimal (Thursday at 1pm). Our burgers and sides were served up perfectly to our unique specifications, all of them, and were mouth wateringly pleasing. We feasted on burgers, sweet potato fries, traditional fries, and onion rings. It was great tasting without the heavy greasy aftertaste that might be expected from a homemade burger and fried sides.

It's basically Smash Burger mixed with Which Wich with a diner feel. Make your own burger, came out fast. Tasted good. The condiments are on the bottom so flip it if you want. Not bad at all.

If you want a burger in Alamagordo, this seems to be the way to go. It did feel like the record needle screeched to halt and everyone stared for a moment, but that's usually a great sign! You fill out a card that builds your meal and turn it in at the register, if it's for "here" they bring it to you. I wanted to try a lot of things. So our bill was a little high ($69 before tip, for 3 of us). We got fried pickles, jalapeno poppers and extra side of green chili fries and then 3 burger meals. I got the 3/4 lb burger. Meat was fantastic and I requested the perfect toppings, if I do say so myself (ha ha), however I will probably try to 1/2 lb next time, as it was 3 separate 1/3 burgers stacked. If that's the way you are going to make it, that's cool, just be sure to slap a piece of cheese between each layer and let people know they're getting a triple. The fried pickles were spears. Tasted from a box, but fried perfectly. Fried jalapeños, same story (cream cheese), green chili fries def made in house and we all LOVED the burgers.Parking: A little hairy diving off the road into the lot, but there seemed to be ample parking.

The outside of the building is dated and slightly off putting but it is definitely a local favorite. It was packed and the line constant. We received our food about 30 mins after we ordered but it was well worth the wait. The burgers are fantastic. We had a large table and not one person had a single complaint. Portion sizes are generous as well. Great food. I'd go back if we were in the area again.
