Excellent sushi. Some of the best sushi I've had in Albuquerque. Highly recommend Sushibucks. Also has a few parking spaces next to the restaurant. It's pretty easy parking in the evenings. (Parking would be difficult during the day when UNM is in session, I suspect.).

Had dinner here on a whim 2 nights ago while passing through town and was very pleased. Wasn't crowded which was a relief, I just wanted a quiet place to have dinner and this was perfect. Was very happy to see they had some no-rice-rolls that fit my no-carb diet. The protein roll and orange roll were outstanding. Excellent service as well. Highly recommend. Will be returning next time I'm in Abq.

Tried this place on a whim two months ago. I really found the name odd and honestly it was the name which kept me away. Very unassuming in name and external presentation. The restaurant is a mix of table service and self service. You get seated and get a menu then have to go up to the front to order and they bring out the food. The presentation of the food is top notch. The chef does a great job and wields his knife well. The sushi itself is the best I have had in Albuquerque and some of the best period. I daydream about their sashimi. It is so good. The place is a little small so when they get busy you might have a wait but the wait is worth it. Pretty reasonably priced as far as very fresh fish in New Mexico goes. I can't recommend highly enough.

Inexpensive and good food near campus. I like the miso ramen the most, as well as gyoza dumplings and tempura shrimp.

I had a great experience at sushibucks! My husband and I went for an early Valentines dinner. There were only 2 other couples there during the longevity of our meal. The staff were all so pleasant.. I wish I would've taken note of the server/cashier, she was so sweet. Good bit of Vegetarian options. And they finished up the meal with a cute bear orange display. The dine in area was clean and the cutlery served was pretty nice too. I'll be back!

I kept hearing about this place from a reasonable number of foodie groups in town so before my most recent popejoy show I decided I was going to give it a try since I was going to be in the area. It is in the row of restaurant fronts that all look very similar over by the university so make sure you find the right door! The place is pretty small with only a few tables and a style where you order at the counter and they bring you your food. I got the salmon poke bowl which came with miso soup and my friend got bulgogi bibimbap. The poke came with a good sized helping of the fish which was well seasoned some egg sashimi, roe, seaweed salad and avocado among other tasties over rice. It was all quite delicious and very filling. My friend enjoyed the bulgogi or at least it disappeared as quickly as my poke bowl! There are quite a few options on the menu I need to go back and try - like the sushi - all in all I was quite pleased with my experience.

doesn’t allow use of disabled parking even though it is against ADA law to restrict use of parking if not solely eating at the restuarant. This is the only disabled parking in the area and this restaurant believes they can claim it because they are the closest to the parking space. So if you handicapped in any way, don’t think these people will be nice enough to allow you to park here, and stroll the street to see what you may be interested in eating. just park on the street and hope your wheel chair or cane isn’t swiped by drivers passing on this street.

On our way to traveling to Atlanta this area wasn't enough Asian restaurant. We looking for eat something Asian food because my friend wanted eat rice. I found out this restaurant on the Yelp.only few restaurants around our hotel. We entered this place without hope. We just wish for nothing bad quality. But there was some great point. Have to order at the front. My friend go there order. Shrimp Denbbura udon for me and bulgogi sushi roll for us. I felt little cold so my friend ordered soup for me. So sweet! Bulgogi sushi roll(3/5)- it was ok but wish less sweet. Udon(2/5)-udon was over cooked but udon base soup was ok. Dumplings(2/5)- after tried eat this definitely I know what kind of dumpling they used. It's good but I hope dumplings quality is better? I first time saw use fried dumplings used very well know Korean brand. That brand dumplings are only pupouar made dumpling soup. Not a fried. Desert it was so nice. Complimentary. So cute We thought this place owner was not a Korean but they spoke Korean to each other because of my dog , we got to know they are Korean. Our dog is service animal and she super quiet while in the bag. Was surprised found Korean owed restaurant in this area. Unbelievable! They are very friendly. I hope they get little more better and getting popular Korean Japanese restaurants around this area. They have a lot of menu we did not try everything but if I have plan for travel this area again I will try other food here!

My go to Korean/sushi spot. The food is consistently good and you get so much food for the price. They also have specials and they also do not disappoint. The service is always excellent and for a small restaurant our food always come out fast. This location is smaller so I suggest coming early or putting in a reservation for big groups. I have brought my meetup group here and out in reservations for 10 people and we pretty much took half of the place

Went out on a date/birthday night and we had a great time. The owners were so sweet and very nice and the restaurant is well laid out and very inviting. We ordered 4 different items to share and we were not disappointed. Great selection and the meal was both visually beautiful and was top notch flavors. I had heard about the orange bear at the end to cleanse your palette and was a great design. Bathroom was very clean and well stocked. I would give them an 11 rating if I could. If you haven't tried them go you will not be disappointed.
