We ordered custom cupcakes for my daughters engagement party. I emailed Bizzy B two weeks in advance to request them and included a picture of what I wanted. I received a reply that yes they can take the order call Monday and that I must pre-pay for them. I called and paid in advance, confirmed they received the picture of the cupcakes I wanted and it was confirmed on the phone that they can create what I requested. The cost for 18 custom cupcakes was $58.00. I received a call the following week confirming the flavor of cupcakes which I selected and again confirmed they would be decorated as the picture in the email. The woman on the phone said yes, let me check and confirmed the flavors of the cake and they would be decorated per the picture from the email. Fast forward to the day of the event, I picked up the cupcakes and when I got to my event location realized the cupcakes I received were not the custom cupcakes I ordered. Shame on me for not checking the box before taking them from their store. I trusted that after emails and calls I would have received what I ordered. The event was in Rio Rancho. As soon as we realized they were not what we ordered I immediately called Bizzy B to let them know these are not correct. I receive plain cupcakes with white frosting, that looked like they were frosted in 10 minutes, not the beautiful custom cupcakes I ordered and paid in advance for. They asked for me to bring them back to re-frost them. It was 11:45 and my event started at 1:00 PM. I told them there is no way I could travel to their location from Rio Rancho to do that and asked them to deliver the correct cupcakes. They said they could not deliver them and do that for me because they would have to bake new cupcakes, they only baked the ones I had ordered. Unfortunately I had no choice but to keep what I ordered. I received an email from the owner apologizing for the mistake, that she trusted her staff, and that she was on vacation and they ruined her vacation and someone would be fired. Although I was upset because I worked hard on trying to make everything perfect for my daughters event, and looked forward to the beautiful custom cupcakes, I graciously replied and said don’t fire anyone, just fix your process so it doesn’t happen again to someone else and provide me a refund. I was assured that I would receive a refund. A few days later, I then received an email from the owner stating that she would only refund me $15.00 for the custom frosting because I refused to return the cupcakes and wanted new. That I kept the product, so too bad. I was in a bind, what was I supposed to do??? She also stated you can write a bad review if you want, but I’m not refunding the full amount because you refused to return the product. So here is the bad review you asked for.I work in a service industry and would never treat a customer like this. I did my part to be a great customer. You did not do your part to deliver the promised product. Own up to what happened, make it right. I was always taught to make things right because one unhappy customer can tell 10-20 people and in turn could lose business, which is what you asked for. I could understand if it was hundreds of dollars but in this case it was $58.00. It ruined what was supposed to be a wonderful and perfect day. I was given Bizzy B as a reference and trusted that it was a great business, I will never use this business again. So disappointed….

I needed a graduation cake and after I tried a cupcake from Bizzy B Cakes I was sold. Maddie who took my order was helpful and patient with all of my questions. She was very knowledgeable about their products. I love the way the cake turned out and I would definitely purchase from them again.

Cake wasn’t decorated correctly, I sent two pictures and talked to I think was the owner about it, she told me it would be decorated on top with fresh fruit and like the picture, when I arrived home, it had absolutely no decorations on the cake. It’s very disappointing to not get what you ordered or paid for, I’m happy to pay what they charge and expect to get what I ordered! I had to try to decorate myself and it just absolutely ruined it, all I asked for was to get what I ordered! The cake was extremely dense, not what I expected.In response to the owners response, I offered twice to pay the balance I owed, I never expect anything for free. I did make it to that area earlier then expected, communication is key, communicate that you didn’t have it ready, would have been glad to come back nor did I rush you in any way. Have the conversation of what’s going on so the order is correct, and a good policy and procedure would be to show all customers their cake or product before leaving the store rather than just giving them a box. That way customers know they are getting what they ordered and paid for.

I ordered the galaxy cake for my son's birthday with chocolate cake! It was beautiful and delicious. Such a moist cake and the buttercream frosting was very tasty without being too thick!
