The beer and food are both excellent. That said we had to wait one hour for two sandwiches and the place was half empty. The servers could probably use some additional help because they were hustling the entire time.

I don't drink so I can't speak to the quality of the alcohol. But I used to live across the street and it always seemed fun!One time I locked myself out of my apartment and one of the bartenders let me borrow his phone to call someone to help me out.Definitely saved me then. Happy to see this place is still in business.

Had dinner at Boese Bros Brewery on tramway on Friday night. Had a nice, stout beer as well as the beach breeze cocktail which was awesome. We had the spicy chicken sandwich and a Hondo burger. Wow it was it good! this is a great neighborhood bar for the Heights area with very friendly service staff, and really good drinks and food. loved it!

Came by with the Pride Pub Crawl. Awesome drinks and great vibe. Nice place with quiet background music and an amazing patio. Will definitely be back.

Nice friendly place, but they don’t serve food. Though there was a food wagon in the courtyard (nice outside space) but it wasn’t serving by the time I left at 6:16 on a Friday!

My downtown friends love to spend time at Boese for the drinks as well as for the different special events, including karaoke night. They have a decent selection of beers as well as cocktails. They also will turn their mocktails into cocktails if you ask but this only works for certain cocktails. Food options are limited but they do have some sandwiches and such. The patio is really nice with lots of fun murals; the downside is people do smoke out there and I'm not a fan.

Tried to stop by once an hour before closing and even though there were about 10 people inside, the bartender yelled at me that they were closed as soon as I walked in. Second time the bartender seemed super bothered that we were there. Drink was good, but when I went to order a second she said she already did last call. But she definitely didn’t say it where anyone could hear her. Cool artsy vibe, but I won’t be back because of the horrible service.

So not only did they charge me for two beers when I asked for a clean one (didn’t even drink out of the first one) but this was the water glass I got ? I’m 100% for small businesses and try to support local but this really got me.
