Wow, such a sudden big increase in Prices for Canteen’s all Year round, non-seasonal Beers? Yikes!!I visited to the Canteen Taproom up on Tramway to get Two 64oz Growlers that I own filled up with their non-seasonal Dark and Lusty Stout which has been around for Years and is always on Tap. When the Bar Tender/Server brought me my Ticket/Bill to show what I need to Pay, I was clearly & suddenly shocked when my bill was $30 for Two 64oz Growlers of the Dark and Lusty Stout! This specific Beer a few Months ago cost just $11 or $12 per 64oz Growler of it! I right away questioned the Bar Tender/Server regarding this sudden spike in cost for this non-seasonal Beer that is always on Tap but has never been or cost a whopping $15 per 64oz Growler of it? The Bar Tender/Server could not much answer my question regarding this & just wanted my Money for both 64oz Growlers that I had him fill being over $32 with Tax for this basic, simple, all Year-round Stout which is not even a Seasonal Beer for now $15 per Growler. I was quite shocked at my Server Ticket/Bill for it. That high Price per 64oz Growler of fresh Craft Beer is what I would typically expect & or pay for a great & or excellent limited time, seasonal release Craft Beer at any Brewery or, even a higher Alcohol Beer that is 7.8% ABV or above but never, $15.00 for an all-Year round, non-seasonal, Beer that is always available on Tap & is under 7% ABV!Canteen has just lost a longtime supporting Customer with them because of this huge & sudden Price Increase that I ran into & had to Pay today for Two 64oz Growlers of the Dark & Lusty Stout! I will be boycotting, staying away from & shopping elsewhere with other local Breweries here in NM for my 64oz Growler fills due to this sudden & shocking Price increase for 64oz Growler fills on Canteen's all Year round, non-seasonal Beers. I expect that many other Canteen Customers will realize, notice this, and do the same because that’s simply too much Money for non-seasonal, all Year-round Beers at that Price…

Admittedly, this rating is biased. I have had many different beers at Canteen Brewhouse. They range from okay to absolutely fantastic! One of my favorites is their citrus wheat, which I believe is only available during the summer. The orange flavor was balanced nicely with the hops and barley. The food can be hit or miss. I have ordered the pretzel on separate occasions. While the pretzel came out PERFECT the second and third time I ordered it, the first time it came out dry and hard. Of the sandwiches they have, I recommend the Pigmac. The pork is cooked nice and tender, and there is more flavorful juices than Tropicana inside. You need hefty bread for it not to get soggy! I have also had the cubano, which is decent at best, and the Frenchie, which is quite good. I'd give Canteen 4.5 stars, but they earned 5. Why? It is the first place where I actually had a good IPA. Rare!

I recently went to The Canteen for Saint Paddy‘s day and for weekly trivia! The service is excellent and the food/drinks are great abs well priced. Fun atmosphere!

I visited Canteen Brewhouse for the first time on St. Patrick's Day. The beverages were satisfactory. Due to my diabetic condition, I had inquired in advance about the kitchen's wait time and was informed it would be approximately 45 minutes. Consequently, I opted to bring my own food. Upon doing so, I was approached by a male staff member who, on two separate occasions, rather assertively instructed me to put away my outside food, without inquiring into or considering the reasons for my actions. While I recognize and respect the policy of patronizing the establishment's own kitchen, I believe that exceptions should be made under certain circumstances. Regrettably, due to this experience, we have decided not to patronize Canteen Brewhouse in the future.

Beer was good, but the worst frito pie I ever had no flavor and nothing but fritos and a few black beans

Super cute bar with fantastic food! It's a lunch place for us regularly. Same staff is always there and amazing.

Accidentally came on trivia night, so it was pretty loud, but the beers are good, the service is friendly and despite the parking lot being full, there were plenty of open tables inside.

Great first visit. I'm not a sandwich person, but many interesting choices. And the beer is awesome! Friendly staff. Would definitely go back

The beer was fine, the food was fine. Great patio. We came here for dinner due to the suggestion of a friend of my parents' while we were in town. He chose this spot because it is dog friendly and he wanted to bring his pup with him. The weather was good, so doggos and outdoor seating were welcome. It is situated in a heavily commercial/industrial area which is a little strange, but allows for a bigger and dedicated parking lot. And they have done some things to make the patio inviting rather than just 'outside in a warehouse district' kind of thing. Everything during our visit here was...fine. Nothing really sticks in my mind as particularly good or bad. The beer wasn't really my style, but was drinkable for my palate. We all shared the German Pretzel with cheese fondue and mustard. It was tasty. They were out of or unable to make the sandwiches a couple of us were initially interested in (2 different offerings). If I recall, we were interested in the french onion offerings (a Frenchy sandwich and a French Onion swanky grilled cheese) and they couldn't be made on that day. So I settled for a Cuban. Which was fine, but not what I wanted. It was a generous size and half of it easily became leftovers. I don't know if I would come back here without someone else having a burning desire to visit this location. But I also wouldn't fight against it. You'll likely have a good time here, and leave beer-ed and fed if those are things you are ingesting.

One of the rudest customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. The place is usually great and majority of the staff are great. It’s been a really long time since I left a place so pissed.

Haven't been there for years. Great beer selection, a little limited but if you know what you like, you cant go wrong. I think a band was doing sound check when we were leaving, on a Sunday afternoon.

Decent beer and they do have a kitchen. I got a brat and the pretzel, both of which were good. My wife got the French dip which was very good. Seems like dogs were allowed on the patio and I met a dope husky.
