Lovely tasting room run by Chef Ben, who is very friendly and knowledgeable. Next time we’re in Albuquerque, we’d love to come visit again.

Food lacked flavor and quality control. Table next to us had plate with hair in it. Chef was outside on his phone entire time. Should have been in kitchen ensuring seasoning and quality

The food here was absolutely terrible and ridiculously priced. The eggplant entree was inedible which was disappointing at a steep price of $39. Beautiful view and nice location in the center of old town. Best for drinks or maybe a charcuterie board but if you want a good dinner I recommend you go elsewhere.

The plates just failed to meet the description on the menu with one exception, the grilled romaine, which was well conceived and executed. Service was amateurish and the multiple requests about our satisfaction were annoying. The Chef has created some well imagined offerings but execution left us wondering how good our food might have been. I would note we were probably the exception Perhaps we needed more alcohol

You can't beat the view, but as other reviews note, the service is not what you'd expect for the price and it seems like little to no effort to create a true fine dining (or really, good dining) experience. Example - the cocktails were excellent, they even had nonalcoholic kombucha for my husband who is sober, but there was no soap in the bathrooms. I went up to someone at the check in desk by the restroom who was clearly a manager, and they were totally unconcerned there was no soap? Still no soap later in the evening in the men's room too. Food wise, some interesting plates with locally sourced ingredients. Overall felt the food was adventurous and pork belly very yummy, chilean sea bass the flavors were perhaps to disoriented but the fish cooked nicely. Service was a take order, drop food situation, no touches on the table otherwise. The chef was very out and about in the restaurant, I wonder if he'd feel comfortable knowing people couldn't' wash their hands at his restaurant? Overall, you can't beat the location and the views, and the cocktails are always excellent. The restaurant wants to be fine dining but it has a long way to go on service, cleanliness, and execution. Not somewhere to dine regularly, as it is very overpriced for the quality.

My wife & I had cocktails & dinner here. The space, on the fifth floor of Hotel Chaco, is very attractive, both the interior & and large outdoor terrace that wraps around part of the building & offers superb views. Excellent experience overall. My wife loved her cocktail but mine (Smoked Sage Margarita) was unbalanced - extremely tart. All the food was exceptional: we shared a fried oyster app (fried in duck fat) & both had the Chilean Sea Bass w/ saffron risotto entree. Both sea bass filets were generously portioned & perfectly cooked - lightly seared & moist. The risotto was also perfectly cooked - extremely rare to find in a restaurant outside of Italy. We finished by sharing the apple crostata w/ homemade vanilla ice cream, also delicious. Our server, Jamie, took very good care of us. The maitre d' checked on us twice to ensure we were satisfied, as did Chef Marc Quinones (also twice) - he did this w/ multiple tables, so rare to see. Our evening was reasonably expensive but we felt we received good value. We could not recommend Level 5 more highly!

We loved our experience here at Level 5. Our booking of the reservations to the filet mignon entre was superb. Loved access to the outdoor patio views. Even though the weather was cold, we still felt comfortable walking around the open rooftop patio taking photos and enjoying our time together. It was our 40th anniversary and we loved every minute of it!

From the moment I stepped into LVL5, I was greeted with an atmosphere that perfectly blends sophistication with the welcoming spirit of Albuquerque. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the diver scallops. Prepared to perfection, these scallops were the best I've had, leaving a lasting impression that will beckon me back for more. The culinary journey didn't end there. The desserts at LVL5 were nothing short of amazing, each bite a testament to the creativity and passion that goes into their creation. The drinks complemented the meal phenomenally, crafted with a precision and flair that elevated the entire dining experience. Chef Quinones is at the heart of LVL5's success, infusing unique New Mexico flavors into every dish. His ability to create innovative dishes while paying homage to the local cuisine is truly remarkable. It's clear that Chef Quinones and his team are not just cooking food; they're crafting experiences that resonate with the soul of New Mexico. LVL5 is more than a restaurant; it's a culinary destination that embodies the essence of Albuquerque's rich flavors and warm hospitality. Whether you're a local or just passing through, a meal at LVL5 is an experience you won't want to miss. Thank you, Chef Quinones and the entire team at LVL5, for an unforgettable evening. I can't wait to return and indulge in the culinary masterpieces that await.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool and the staff is really friendly. Food and drinks were amazing, with a pretty good variety. Undoubtedly, the restaurant has tasty food, great views and great service. It's a great place to spend your evening.

What a pleasant surprise to have this fine dining experience in Albuquerque. The elk appetizer was outstanding, as were the scallops in a delicate corn kind of pudding that was out of this world. The chef came out and said hello to us, and we complemented the beautiful presentation and the exquisite flavors that came out of his kitchen. I would definitely recommend this restaurant anyone that's looking for a gastronomical feast for the eyes and the taste buds I can't wait to go back.

THe room was quite attractive but all the hard surfaces enhance the noise level. The tapas were very good as was a gin cocktail I liked. I didn't have a desert but the family liked theirs. We thought it quite expensive for the type and quality of the food and experience..

Everything was good until mercedes came to our table and told us we had to leave. We didn't cause any issues or disturbances. We had A 5:30 reservation and she was telling g us to leave because they had a reservation on our table at 7:00pm. Good thing we didn't order dessert because we would have had to taken to go, what a horrible customer service.

I was so excited to try this place after I saw that chef made the James Beard semifinalist. I'm a vegetarian, so I checked the menu and was pleasantly surprised about the eggplant steak. My partner eats meat, wasn't worried about his options. Our server was good, but we were sat at a table with trash still on, lots of water puddles, etc. Our server fixed that promptly. Also right next to our table was an overflowing trash can with Valentine's menus sticking out which made me think they hadn't emptied the trash in 2 days since this was 2 days after Valentine's Day. Now for the food, the special small plate was a pistachio crusted goat cheese stuffed poblano pepper. It was good, very stuffed, not amazing, but good. Partner had the grilled Caesar salad, which was ok, nothing great. I got the eggplant steak for the large plate and it was not only not good, it was bad. I was starving and ate about half, but couldn't do more than that. I hope it was an off day because if not it should not be on the menu. There was no salt, no umami flavor, the only flavor over the bland eggplant was the incredibly sour berries. No thank you, wouldn't even eat it again if it was free. Get that off the menu. My partner got the pollo con papas which was good, the chicken was moist and well seasoned. The papas were perfectly crispy. I truly hope it was an off night because we were nonplussed and for the price it should have been much better. The eggplant was just terrible.

We had a reservation because we had plans afterwards, and we wanted to insure we were done with dinner prior. We arrived on time and we were seated. However, no server ever came to wait on us. After seeing other people come in and sit at the bar we decided that would be best for us in order to be served. We informed the hostess we were moving to the bar top. We had been in the restaurant 23 minutes before anyone even gave us water. We waited on drinks an additional 10 minutes. It was overall bad service with a fantastic view.

Incredibly small portions for the price; filet mignon less than 4 oz. The apple fritter consisted of what seemed to be a pilsbury flaky biscuit with apples slices on top. Our server was great and I can't say enough about how attentive she was, however this could not make up for a steak no better than Texas Roadhouse and a singular prawn that was simply “ok.” The ambience was also amazing, however I find myself questioning if I paid more for the view than the actual food.
