The family really enjoyed their asada fries. I really wanted to love this place but struggled to taste the food because it was SO overly salted that it wasn't edible. I'll try one more time.

Had the cucos burrito ?. Mmmmm. So good. Portion was massive if feeling a bit hungry. Easily could have had leftovers.

I love this location waay better than the Menaul location! I advocate for my friends and family to eat here and I’m honestly surprised that it isn’t booming! I’m always getting the Asada Fries and they are peeeerrrfecf! The staff is always so nice and welcoming and they always write “Gracias!” On the bag that has my sauces and extras in. It’s cute and feels personable!

Love this little place. Had great old Mexican food. None of that New Mexican 'red or green?' going on here. The prices are fair. Portions are huge. Service is outstanding. I usually pop in during 'off hours' to avoid any type of rush. I like to sit and enjoy my meal and always do. Burritos are the best. California burrito is my son's go to. I always switch it up because there are so many food options. Rice & beans are good too. Guacamole is on point, just wish they put more LoL

The breakfast burrito I ordered tasted phenomenal, however for the $7 I paid, it was incredibley small. I go to cucos often at their other locations and haven't had this problem. Would have given full 5 stars if the burrito wasn't so tiny.

Finally a quick and close taste to what I grew up on in SoCal. Cali burritos are not for everyone, neither is Sonora Mexican food so if you're coming here expecting New Mexican slop, keep searching. Got my Cali burrito home this afternoon and first bite, took me back to my High School days of ditching class, grabbing my board and hitting the beach with my buds and some burritos from the local shops in O.B. Asada cooked perfect, guacamole and pico on point and not overloaded with fries...perfect balance. Cuco's be warned, now that I mostly work from home, you'll likely be seeing my face here on the regular PS...I'd post a picture but I smashed that thing so fast there was not time LOL.

I had chilaquiles and a torta. Both were rather mediocre and overpriced. The chilaquiles came with an egg, they were more a bad version of huevos rancheros than actual chilaquiles, they were more generic salty rice than actual chilaquiles, which are supposed to be chunks of tortilla fried in red or green salsa, served with fresh onion, crumbled queso fresco, and crema on top. These chilaquiles had none of that. The chicken torta was just a generic white bread roll with a few chunks of chicken, maybe a smear of avocado, and some onion, tomato, and lettuce inside. Very dry. No butter, no refried beans, no jalapeños, no mayo in it. Each of these dishes was about $10.00, none of them were worth that. The service is ok but it becomes rather unpleasant and awkward when the person serving you seems extremely uncomfortable doing so and says she's sorry every time she tells you something. This place may get some regular locals and its name may seem to give it some cred, but it's nothing like "real Mexican food", the way they claim their fare is. Won't go back

YUMMY Mexican food. Note: it’s not New Mexican, but Mexican. The huevos rancheros were very good, I got them with red and green sauce, and the green sauce is Mexican style. Also drank a hibiscus drink, very good.

Delicious! Picked up some BOGO food from UberEats and everything was delicious. Barbacoa was savory and juicy, carne asada fries were huge (and we got two of them lol) where the fries were extra crispy even with sauce drenched on them. The meat has a great marinade. Tasty sauces too. Will be back!

I ordered through Doordash but wish I wouldn't have. Got a churro with cajeta that was missing the cajeta, and some subpar chicken enchiladas with fatty chicken and a lot of onions (onions were not listed in the ingredients)
