Do the managers not teach their teen employees about basic customer service? I walk in and a kid comes around the corner (AirPod in ear), barely making eye contact and gives an almost inaudible muttering of “what can I get for you?”. I place my order- the kid still has yet to keep eye contact- and once again I get an almost inaudible communication about the total of my order.Throughout placing my order, I wasn’t asked if there was anything else he could add to my order, didn’t receive eye contact, a raise in voice for audibility or in tone for a pleasant customer service experience, not a single smile or pleasantry. In fact, though there was not a single person in the store, I felt like me walking in was annoying.I’m in my twenties and manage myself. If this was my store and my staff, I would be appalled. Simple customer service would have been bare minimum for a teen employee. I understand that most teens have lost the discipline to do anything more than what earns them a check but it’s up to management to coach their employees to be able to execute good customer service.Date of interaction was 3/9/24 around 6:15pm

This is a nice Dairy Queen in town with all of your ice cream options but excluding most of the tradition hot meals that a typical DQ offers. Overall is clean and tidy on the inside. Tables are kept clean in between customers. Service is speedy.

Stopped in for a sweet treat after dinner. Was greeted with a friendly smile and employees ready to take action as soon as we placed our orders. The team that was working was quick and efficient and we got some of the best blizzards we've had! Would definitely visit this location again!

I had the worst customer experience from a female employee. I requested if I can get the large cone to travel safely 10 miles. Which other Dairy Queens just put the cone into a large cup with cone and all. She looked at me after making the cone and threw the cone in trash. Then she walked away. I should have guessed by her inititial reaction this would have been how i would be treated. When I arrived she rolled her eyes and refused to help me. Another employee came over to take my order. The male employee who helped me tried to apologize to me for how she was and made a joke. She needs more training. I clearly know this was discrimination on her part. The worst part she was African American and I am Native American. The lobby had a family of Spanish Speaking children. I now will not come back when she is working. This world already has its issues but seriously not what I expect from her.

Says they’re open until 10pm. Not so much. 9:50pm & lights are dark, doors locked & kids standing behind the counter waiting to go home. Door dash guy comes to pick up an order & has to knock on the door. If you say you’re open until 10 then be open until 10. Could’ve gone to another location which is what we’ll do in the future.

Blizzards made competently and pretty quickly. Place was clean. Staff was friendly.
Best and cleanest DQ in New Mexico
Way too much chocolate syrup in the m&m blizzard
Employees should stay off phones.
Awesome Hot Fudge sundaes
